Val grins, shifting the package in her arm to return the hug, giving him a peck on the cheek.
"Hey there yourself," she says with a playful wink. "Great to be back, the life of a sixteen-year-old girl genius isn't easy, you know."
She hands him the package, heaving a little sigh of relief to be rid of it's weight.
"Like I'd miss your birthday."
