Mom made the suggestion and Misha wondered why he hadn't thought of it first. He and Brat really didn't have time to talk the way they used to. He still worried he might hurt them, but it wasn't the crippling fear that had haunted the weeks after Weapon X.
He and Darlene left New York early and made okay time. She was used to taking the train, but hopefully he would get there before she left for the station. Finding the place wasn't hard, though parking was bad. Once he found a spot, he placed a call to Anya while he walked back to her apartment.
