"The Shi'ar evolved from Avians, they have a wider visual range than humans, so much of their art and high fashion deals with utilizing the color spectrum, and their performing arts often have people in even more vibrant wardrobes than Earth's Las Vegas shows. Their music is, in many ways, similar to Earth's, but relies more heavily upon instrumentals intended to convey emotional states or impressions than on lyrics. Some of their youth culture is experimenting with ballads and operatic works without a single word, still trying to tell a coherent story."
He pauses, considering. "The Kree are a military dictatorship, focused heavily upon enforcing uniformity. Much of the art has long since gone out of their culture, though they have some stirring military ballads. They spend a lot of time celebrating the master works of their past, some of which are impressive, but very little focus is put into creation of new art."
