"It's a hazard area," she said with a nod. She sighed. "Look, there's no easy way to bring this up or tell you this." Anya paused, trying to figure out how to put this. "This past summer, right around the time you got here and before I started dating Steve...Iason...me...well we had a fling. We weren't keeping a secret, but we didn't exactly broadcast it either. I wanted to tell you before you found out from someone else and had the wrong idea."
