Iason spent some time in advance helping Jarvis get things ready, but after a lot of thought, his real plans for Christmas required getting out plenty early and heading for the southern hemisphere and opposite side of the world.
As Christmas Eve and darkness settle in around the world, the world's various radar tracking systems pick up a U.F.O. - it follow's NORAD's expected trajectory for Santa's sleigh in its trip about the world, and its too small and traveling too quickly to get a good fix on.
He sheds bright red and green light as he travels, leaving a long trail in the sky behind him, reaching each time zone just a little after darkness is hitting in his gradual path around the world, just low enough that everyone in the world below can see it.
