"How is your mother doing? I haven't seen her in ages," he said to Lucas.
"It's that time of year, isn't it? Amazing. The place is still standing too." Warren shook his head. Bobby's kids were just as bad if not worse than he was. Yet it was fitting.
Warren pulled out a small stack of gift cards in cardboard sleeves to various places. They each were worth a hundred dollars and addressed to the kids. Lyta was helpful in providing the information about peoples' favorite stores. "These are for the gang," he said. "There's one for each person here."
