Anya nodded. "Necessary, but not fun or entertaining. The Widow made us do reports on allies and enemies so we knew who was who."
She gave him a small smile.
"Don't worry. We'll keep you on the right side of the law and as for cultural taboos...we'll make sure you don't run afoul of those either."
