Sylvie's dress was long enough to completely cover the customized pink 'leggings' she had on her lower arms -- not only was it cold, one never knew when there might be an emergency.
She smiled. "It was terrific. And occasionally terrifying. But I'd like to think I pulled off the Adventures On My Own thing really well. I was, for example, wounded on the battlefield of Ypres -- scraped my lower left elbow when my chair got stuck, but that doesn't have as nice a ring to it."
