Andrea reached back and removed the datajack from the socket at the base of her neck. All systems were performing at or above standards (though she had, in fact, had to recalibrate her standards in order to match her new performance levels).

Due to the damage that she had incurred during the battle with the Deviants, she had nearly been rebuilt from the ground up, making several improvements over her previous configuration. Her endoskeleton was now made from a lighter but statistically more durable material. Her power source was more compact but with a greater energy output.

The damage to her absorption cells, however, had been rather extensive. And though her father had been more than willing to donate more of his own, he, Kristoff, and herself (through direct mainframe access) had determined that an alternate configuration would be better and provide her with greater durability without being reliant on a particular power. She was stronger than before, more durable, with many implanted weapons and devices, as well as extendable limbs, anti-gravity powered flight, and others.

She remained, if in a slightly different way, as Awesome as before.

Something, however, was the matter with Vincent. She had seen him only a small number of times since reactivation and the others were evasive when it came to answers. Now that she was certain of her own operational stability, she would seek him out herself.
