There is more hope in what Lucas says, and the crack on the iced over lake gets little bigger. The beating heart gets a small bit faster, and Gabriel attempts speech once again. He can make a sound, but his voice is very quiet.
"H-her name is Alyssa," he began the story, "And she... she was my w-wife."
And he continues to talk about her, and the life they shared together. Tears rolled down his cheeks. Gabriel is overwhelmed.
