Lucas sighs. The wound is closed, but the direct interaction and absorption of dark magic will take a while to heal entirely. At least Elder Shadow sounds sincere.

You and your people have shown you do not wish to call the same Earth mother, and the same sky father as my people, so I cannot offer any atonement. I cannot guide those who do not wish my guidance or it would be a sin. There is a great deal that is good here, Elder Shadow. This is a place of great beauty and powerful spirits. I am sorry for the harm done to you and your people by the actions of evil men, and I hope that you and yours can find peace over it in what is good here. And in time, I hope I can call at least some among you brother and sister."
