She's trying to get a breath, get a shift in stance, and get ready to try to make it past him to get to Andrew when -- he's back again.
She starts going down with the targeted attacks, but in truth, she's had training sessions that hurt worse than this. But then he's got her wrist he keeps hitting her. And hitting her. And finally, she has to drop the knife, though she manages to drop it with a little burst of minor electric charge -- ma foi, it's hardly better than static -- so he can't grab it easily either.
And she can't even stay mostly on her feet anymore, and why is he doing this so inefficiently and what's with the singing and...
