Pyxis answered the door when she heard the knock, knowing that it would be Walden and Dudley on the other side. They were coming to stay with her until they could find a proper flat. She just hadn't told them that she was planning to move in with them. That was all. She ran her hands through her hair to calm it down and opened the door, smiling at them.

"Hullo boys." She stepped aside to let them in. "I'll show you your room so you can take your stuff up. And I've marked some nice apartments in your price range for us to look at. We have an appointment in two hours."

"Inviting them over is a good idea," Walden agreed, smiling at Pyxis. "We might have to invite Dudley's folks over at some point too. His mother was really worried. Actually, it might be better if she doesn't know he's living with a girl."

He squeezed her hand. They could do this. They'd be friends and everything would be fine. "You deserve a good boyfriend, Pyxis. Someone who treats you right and doesn't cheat."

Pyxis smiled at that. Walden was going to be able to give her up pretty easily. That just meant that he hadn't really felt anything for her like she'd kind of hoped. But, that was okay. Walden didn't have to fancy her.

She leaned in and pressed their lips together, kissing Walden deeply for a long moment. The last time she'd kiss him. And then she pulled back and looked down at her cat. "You should go unpack some more. Tell Dudley if he's done he can come help me."

Walden stared down at Pyxis after the kiss. "I -- yeah," he said, feeling dazed. His heart was pounding fast in his chest. "I should... I'll go tell him," he said, pulling back and leaving the room. He should probably give him time to stop thinking of Pyxis before Romy came over anyway.

Dudley came in to see Pyxis after Walden told him to, smiling at her. "Wallie said you needed some help."

"Yeah, okay," Dudley agreed, walking over to the boxes and taking a seat. "I have a ton of stuff, but my mum wants an excuse to check in on me, you know? She's a bit smothering." He opened up a box, taking stuff out for Pyxis.

"I think this box is mostly knick knacks and girly decorating things," Dudley told Pyxis, taking out a framed picture of her with some mohawked dude and another pretty girl. He reached in again and then paused with his hand half out of the box, wrapping around a big, purple vibrator. "I -- uh --" He held it up to her. "And where do you want this?"

Pyxis looked up at Dudley and arched a brow. She thought that he'd like doing this. He was always making those eyes at her and making sexual innuendos. And now that she was coming onto him, he was pulling back. Maybe she was just ugly.

"Alright." She shrugged and sat back, shrugging. "Just go through one of the other boxes. I'll take care of this one, since you seem so offended by it."

Dudley didn't think Pyxis was coming on to him. He just assumed he was being teased. Which was fine. Pyxis was cool and pretty and he probably really wasn't her type because he still had a lot of chubbiness, even if he had been working out with Walden to try and build some muscle up.

"I'm not offended by it," he told her. "Blokes like a girl who likes to, you know, take care of herself." Dudley picked up another box. "But you don't need to show me your private things."
