Rider knew Romy was dating Walden or whatever, but he wasn't going to let that get in the way. Romy still had sex with him before. He didn't see why Walden living in London should change that. Except... it kind of had. She had some weird fluffy kitten that was living with them now and she was always going to see him and Rider was very put out about it. Even if Walden wasn't trying to kill him because Rider and Romy hadn't really been alone together so he assumed he'd talked them out of having sex together or something.

He looked at the kitten, curled up on top of the living room couch, and sighed. Romy was out or something and Rider was the only one currently home. He reached out and scooped the cat up, rubbing his face against her and then walking into the kitchen. "What do you eat?" he asked, opening the fridge. "You probably don't want jerky." He took out some cold chicken, sitting at the kitchen island. "I'll feed you and we'll be friends from now on."

"I just want to make sure that you're happy with everything." Pyxis pointed out, then pressed their lips together. She smiled softly at him and pulled back. "I'm sorry that I was snogging Romy."

Romy smiled softly at that and ran a hand down Walden's chest, pressing close. "Why would that make him insecure? It's not like I was asking you to join us."

Dudley laughed when Pyxis apologized for the snogging. "Nah, don't worry about it," he said. "I'm not going to apologise for the wanking I'm going to be doing later thinking about the two of you."

Walden laughed a little at that. "It might make him insecure because it would mean that his girlfriend was with someone else," he said, shrugging. "Dudley's a bit nervous about Pyxis liking him still."

"You're so gross. I hate you." Pyxis laughed softly and pressed Dudley back against the counter. She pressed their hips together. "You're amazing. Even if you are a giant perv. I missed you." She pulled back. "My mate Rider is coming over tomorrow before Waldo and I leave for Spain."

"He shouldn't be. She likes him." Romy pointed out, pressing close to Walden. She looked him over. "Is that something you'd like? Being with me and Pyxis?"

"He's one of the ones who's Walden's brother, right?" Dudley asked. He was also pretty sure Rider was Pyxis's ex-boyfriend, but he didn't want to be that guy. He kissed Pyxis softly. "It'll be nice to meet your other friends."

Walden felt like maybe he was being asked a trick question. He looked down at Romy. "I'm happy being with you," he told her. "But yeah, I think it's sexy. I'm a teenage boy."

"Yeah. He's one of Walden's brothers." Pyxis nodded, kissing Dudley again. "He's a bit crude, but he's harmless. Mostly. IF you're not okay with it, I won't invite him over. I don't want to make you uncomfortable."

Romy kissed Walden softly. "Maybe when you get back from your trip, we could try it." She told him, smiling softly. "I'm a good girlfriend sometimes."

Dudley shook his head. "Nah, he's your mate," he said. "And I've been dying to meet one of Walden's brothers. I know he's got two of them but I haven't even seen pictures. I'm looking forward to it."

"You're always a good girlfriend," Walden said, kissing Romy and smiling at her. "Maybe we could try it, if you want to. We'll talk about it when we're back from Spain. You going to see me off?"

"You haven't seen pictures? Really?" Pyxis asked as she took out her phone and brought up a picture of Rider. "This is Rider. And this is Rooney." She slid the picture to the side. "They're both great. I love them."

"Of course I am." Romy smiled, kissing his cheek. "Don't have too much fun. And... try to email me or something. Because, I'm going to miss you. I'll pay your phone bill if I have to."

Rider was sort of... big and mohawky. Dudley nodded, looking at them. "Rooney looks more like my kind of bloke," he said. "Sort of more... I don't know. Normal looking. It'll be nice to meet Rider though."

"Of course I'll email you," Walden promised, kissing Romy softly. "Whenever I have access to wi-fi I promise I'll send you a message. And I won't have too much fun."

"I'm anything but normal and you like me." Pyxis pointed out, looking up at Dudley. She stuck out her tongue and then walked over, starting to put some dinner together for them. "Go hang out with Romy. Walden!"

"Good." Romy kissed him softly, then pulled back when she heard Pyxis yelling. "I think she needs your help."

Dudley nodded, walking back into the living room dutifully. He smiled at Walden's girlfriend. "So you and Pyxis like kissing each other?" he asked, sitting on the couch and switching the telly on.

Walden walked into the kitchen and smiled at Pyxis. "Need help with dinner?" he asked. "Romy just asked me if I wanted a threesome with the two of you. What happened?"

Romy thought that question was kind of awkward, but she shrugged. "Yes. I suppose." She replied, bringing her legs up to her chest. "It feels good. Kissing girls."

"Do you want the honest truth or part of the truth?" Pyxis asked as she fished out some potatoes and held them out to Walden to peel.

"Does," Dudley agreed, laughing. "Sorry, I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable. It's just a bit odd, walking in on your girlfriend and another girl kissing. But not in a bad way."

"Might as well make it the honest truth, right?" Walden asked, taking the potatoes from Pyxis and beginning to peel them. He smiled at Pyxis. "What's up?"

"It should be in a bad way. You shouldn't want your girlfriend snogging another girl." Romy pointed out. "Or fingering her. Or anything else. Right?"

"We were hanging out at a pub with Rider. And I was kissing on Rider, kind of. And we somehow ended up..." Pyxis gave him a look that finished her sentence. "She felt bad about it afterward. I supposed about the Rider part. Obviously not about me."

"Were you fingering each other before we got here?" Dudley asked, perking up a bit and giving Romy an intrigued look. "I'm... I mean, I'd be okay with that. I don't know. Pyxis says I'm a pervert, but I think it's really hot."

Walden... wasn't sure how he felt about Romy sleeping with Rider. Pyxis had told him about it before though, and he was thinking about sleeping with Romy and Pyxis too. "I guess that's why she was so apologetic to me in there. She felt bad about Rider." He shook his head. "I can't get mad about it, you know? I've done stuff too."

Romy laughed at Dudley, looking him over. "What if I was? Do you think that dinner is going to turn into a massive orgy between the four of us?" She shrugged. "I'm a proper girl, Dudley."

"We can't fault her for it, no." Pyxis admitted, looking up at Walden. "She's trying to be a good girlfriend. She really does like you, Walden. She does. Sometimes I think she's more perfect for Dudley."

"You don't seem that proper to me," Dudley said. "You're in your knickers and Walden's t-shirt. You were snogging a girl when we walked in. You say your proper, but I don't think I believe you."

Walden looked at Pyxis for a moment. "Why do you think Romy and Dudley would be better?" he asked, raising an eyebrow at her.

Romy arched a brow at that accusation. "I am proper. Outside of my home. I think of this place as part of my home." She informed him, then shrugged. "Does a girl always have to be proper when she's with her friends? I leave the house and I'm dressed perfectly and I act like a princess."

"They're a lot alike. Pretending to be something they're not." Pyxis told him. "They're both into the same music and the same shows. They don't like to read. They don't like eating vegan food. They'd make the perfect little couple with the perfect little white picket fence and kids in the yard." She snorted. "I'm not sure that'll ever be me. You know?"

Dudley laughed at that. "I guess it doesn't really matter," he said, shrugging. "Girls can do whatever they want to do. It's the twenty-first century, right? You're allowed."

Walden nodded in agreement. "I know that's not what you want," he agreed. "Does Dudley know? Dudley's a good bloke. I don't... well, at our age I guess it doesn't matter if you can't see marriage. I don't think Romy and I are great together."

Romy laughed at that. "It's what I want. To be proper. I want to grow up and have babies and be married. Be a homemaker. Cook dinner and take care of my kids and keep the house clean. That's what I've always wanted."

Pyxis looked up at Walden and touched his hand. "I haven't really talked to him about it. We haven't been together that long. Not long enough for that conversation." She pulled Walden a little closer. "I've always imagined having kids. Two, maybe. And I want to travel the world with them and teach them the customs and histories of cultures that aren't ours."

"My mum's like that," Dudley told Romy, nodding in agreement. "She's always baking cakes and going round to people's houses for dinner and things. That's just what she's like. What's your mum like? Same thing?"

"Well, you do come from a family with money. You'd be able to do that sort of thing," Walden said, nodding in agreement. "I don't know what I want. I haven't thought about kids or anything much. I just want to have cats."

"No. Not at all." Romy laughed, shaking her head. "She's loud and rowdy. I'm kind of like her sometimes. I think it just comes with the territory when you're around Macnair's so much. My Dad raised me to be more proper. It's the Lestrange way."

Pyxis grinned at that. "Cats sound good." She bit her bottom lip, then turned around to where she was cooking the stir-fry. "I've got to stop thinking about shagging you all the time."

"Yeah? You've got a brother too, right? I'm trying to learn about all this stuff. Is he proper too?" Dudley asked. "Walden didn't tell me much about his family, no matter how much I tried bugging him about it."

Walden snorted at that. "I don't know why you are," he said. "It sounds like you're fine. You don't really need to be thinking about me because you've got people looking after your needs."

Romy frowned at that. "I don't understand why he wouldn't tell you about his family. I'm... I'm actually really offended by that." She informed him. "My father is in a partnership with his father. They're both my Dad's." She informed him. "And he has two brothers who are brilliant. I have a great family."

Pyxis turned and looked at him, shaking her head, then turned back. That put her off. "Whatever, Walden. If you don't get it, maybe you're not as smart as I think you are." She finished the stir fry and left it there. "I'm not hungry anymore. Tell everyone else to eat."
