Walden's arm was in a sling when he showed up at school. He had to home eventually and the longer he waited to do it, the worse his father would be. He wasn't stupid. He knew that. Arielle stared at Weldon for a moment, then frowned to herself. Rabastan had only mentioned the beating, but it made sense, him and Walden coming together so fast.
