"Because he's still your little brother, even if I kissed him, and he's terrified of her finding out," Remus said, shaking his head. "The only reason you two don't get along is because you don't understand each other. He's just not as brave as you, Sirius."
He sighed, reaching up and touching Sirius's cheek. "It just happened. It wasn't planned. There was no conspiracy to try and hurt you. We were meeting to talk about writing and... it happened. I've been trying to think of a way to tell you. It was after we kissed."
