"Are you sure this is worth the trouble you're going to get yourself into?" Remus asked, looking around at the people crowding Sirius's mother's house. He thought they might actually know about half of them. The rest were all strangers, but when you made your end of summer party a public facebook event, this was what happened.

James slung an arm around Remus's shoulder, grinning at him. He's already consumed quite a bit of whiskey, but that was okay. Everything was wonderful and okay. "Moony, you are being so Moony," he said. "We start school tomorrow. We have to have a party. We have to have the best party. My parents won't let us have one in our house. Sirius's mother is in Paris. It's perfect. Where's Reggie? We'll get him drunk and he'll black out and won't remember to tell on us. Fool proof."

Sirius smirked and led Remus out onto the dance floor, wrapping his arms around him. He jumped up and down and began to shake his arms around like an idiot, laughing. "I don't know what kind of shite music this is, but I like it. Let's dance, Moonsies."

Lily frowned at that. "You want me to dance with someone who was touching my tits and groping me?" She asked and snorted. "I'm not giving you more of a reason to grope me."

Remus laughed when Sirius started acting like an idiot, smiling at him and reaching up to ruffle his hair. "Okay, okay," he said. "I'm dancing, Padfoot." He pulled away a little so he could dance to the beat of the music, much more conservatively than Sirius was.

James frowned to himself. "I wasn't groping you," he said. "I was trying to clean up the drink I spilled and then I was giving you my shirt. That's totally different from groping you. You know Remus is gay, right? Your poetry isn't going to make him straight."

	Sirius watched Remus dancing to the music and chilled out a bit, laughing. He took a large drink from the bottle he was holding and then tossed it aside. It made a loud smash sound. "Remmy-poo?" Remus repeated, raising an eyebrow at Sirius. "How much have you had to drink tonight, Sirius? It must be a lot if you're calling me hot."

"Well, you're the one who's always showing him your poetry. Don't look at me like I'm the weird one," James said, shaking his head. He ran a hand over his hair, messing it up. "I'm supposed to be getting drinks or something, I think."

"You're hot even when I'm not drunk." Sirius pointed out and smirked at Remus. "I kind of want to put my dick in you and wiggle it. But, you won't let me because you're a prude."

"I show him my poetry because he's my friend. And I can't show it to you because most of it is about how much I hate you." Lily pointed out and sighed. "I don't think you need anymore to drink. Where is the loo here? I need to soak my shirt."

Remus made a face, pulling away from Sirius a little. "That's not the only reason, trust me," he said. "I'm going to go find something to eat. Make good choices."

James grinned at Lily. "You write poetry about me?" That made him feel all flushed and happy. The girl he fancied wrote poems about him. He laughed, slinging an arm around her shoulders. "I'll show you the loo. Sirius's mum has one people probably won't have thrown up in."

Remus looked at James without his shirt on for a moment, and then at Lily with James's shirt covering her up. "At least he gave you his," he said. "James, how drunk are you?"

James thought about it for a moment. "Very drunk," he said. "Super drunk. You make sure Lily knows you're gay, right? Did you know she writes poems about me?" James beamed at Remus.

Remus laughed. "Okay, James, I'm going to take Lily to clean her shirt. You should go dance with Sirius. He'll appreciate your shirtlessness."

"Sirius!" James shouted, throwing his arms in the air. "He's my best mate in the whole fucking world, Moony. No offense. Siiiirius!" James wiggled through the crowd in search of his friend.

Remus looked at Lily and laughed. "At least James is cheerful when he's drunk. Let's go upstairs so you can soak your blouse."

Lily laughed and hooked her arm in Remus's. "I like that he thinks I fancy you. If he knew who I really fancied, he'd probably flip out." She told Remus, bumping her arm against his. "I only came because I knew you'd be here."

Sirius looked up from taking a few shots and beamed at his best mate. "Jimmy boy. You're my favourite kind of man right now. Shirtless." He leaned in and bit James's nipple. "Let's see if we can get some girls topless."

"I'm here hoping that nobody ends up spending the night in jail," Remus said, laughing. "James is just mouthy when he drinks too much. All his inside thoughts become outside thoughts." He led Lily up the stairs. "Will you tell me who you really fancy?" And hopefully it wouldn't break James's heart.

"Oi!" James said, laughing and ruffling Sirius's hair when he bit his nipple. "Remus sent me over. Keep your teeth to yourself, Black. I'm topless. The girls should be too."
