Tom had never been happy with a woman before. Christina was the first person he'd ever even liked. So, he was doing his best to make sure he didn't mess what they had up. He was a little concerned about their age difference, but it seemed as though it really didn't bother her. And they'd been together a couple of months. So.

He'd decided it was time to bring her home to his own house. He took a deep breath and turned the key to his place. "I even cleaned it up a bit."

	Tom felt her stomach and laughed when he felt the baby kick. He couldn't believe she had a tiny baby in her and that it was responding to him. Christina felt about ready to pop, but she'd told Evan to make Lucius throw her a baby shower and now here she was, sitting in Lucius's ridiculous flat, feeling like Lucius maybe didn't know it was possible to not spend a ridiculous amount of money on things. "Are these actually Marc Jacobs onesies?" she asked, looking up at him after opening the box.

"There should be a Prada one in there too," Lucius said, peering into the box. "I was looking at Miu Miu, but they mostly do girl's clothes and Evan said you felt like it was a boy."

	Evan ran a hand over his face and shook his head. "I didn't pre-approve the presents this time. I kind of wish that I had now." He laughed as he looked at the presents. He held out the pacifier with the monster face on it he'd gotten her. It was much cheaper than everything Lucius had gotten her. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Christina laughed as she took the pacifier from Evan, shaking her head. "It's fine," she said. "Lucius can make sure the baby is incredibly spoiled for its first few months of life. Before you tighten the reigns."

Narcissa smiled at Christina, bringing over a tray of cupcakes with little fondant pacifiers on them. "We got you cupcakes," she said, sitting down beside her and then touching her stomach. "I can't believe you get to be a mum."

	"Hopefully you're going to be a Mum too, Narcissa." Evan pointed out as he looked at her. "As soon as Lucius stops being lazy and actually marries you. Narcissa didn't really want to marry Lucius anymore. "I don't mind not getting married yet," she said quickly, shaking her head. "There's still plenty of time for that."

Lucius nodded in agreement. "More than enough time," he agreed. "She's young. No need to make her a child bride."

Christina looked up when Tom said her parents were there, feeling nervous. "Hi," she said, chewing on her bottom lip a bit as they walked into the room. "I'd get up, but it's harder to move now."

Evangeline gave her daughter's stomach an amazed look, walking over to hug her. "You have certainly gotten much bigger since I last saw you," she said, kissing her cheek. She looked at Evan and his boyfriend and nodded. "Evan. We don't see much of you anymore either."

	Evan looked up at his parents, suddenly feeling very uncomfortable. "Uh.. Yeah. I'm here and there." He moved away from Lucius so that they wouldn't look too suspicious. Christian took a seat and looked at his daughter. "We brought a gift." He set the envelope in front of her, containing all the paperwork to transfer the villa into her name. Christina smiled at her father, then took the envelope, opening it up and going wide-eyed when she saw the papers inside. "You -- you're giving me the villa?" She looked from one of them to the other. "Really?"

Evangeline nodded. "Your brother's been very stubborn about his responsibilities, and while this... isn't how we'd imagined this happening, you are setting yourself up to have a very good life, Chris. We think you deserve it."

	Christian nodded along with his wife. "You need to take over the vineyard and everything. Once you've gotten your degree that Tom has told us about, you'll be completely ready to run everything. I'll help with it until you're ready." Evan glanced between his parents and gave an impressed look. "Good. I'm glad you won't be forcing me to marry." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Christina smiled at her parents, looking up at Evan and laughing. "No one could force you to do anything you didn't want to do," she said, shaking her head. She hugged both her parents in turn. "This is amazing. It's what I've always wanted. Thank you."

She kissed her father's cheek. "I'll work hard to be able to take good care of the vineyard. Don't worry. And Evan will still help. He loves the land. I like the business."

	Tom was letting Christina sleep, but they'd brought their brand new baby into the room for her at least ten minutes before. He waited a bit until the baby started to stir, then leaned in and kissed her softly to wake her up. "Honey." He whispered, kissing at her neck. "Merlin is hungry and you're leaking." Christina shifted a little in bed when Tom kissed her neck, making a soft sound and blinking at him. She felt dazed from the drugs, but also still somehow sore. She smiled at Tom, sitting up a little in bed and looking down at herself in her hospital gown.

"Oh God. My body is so weird now," she said, laughing a little and pushing her hair out of her face. "I look like a mess. Where's our baby?" Christina smiled. "I don't want him to be hungry."

Christina still felt a little awkward holding a real baby, but she supposed she'd have to get used to it eventually. She kissed Merlin's tiny forehead, smiling down at him, and then opened her gown so he could latch on and feed.

"I slept very well," she said. "Pushing a person out of your body is exhausting." Christina laughed, looking down at Merlin and beaming at him. "He's so tiny and perfect. I can't believe we made him."

	"Biology is weird." Tom made a face and grinned at her, then leaned forward and kissed her forehead. "He's the most perfect baby I've ever seen. He's beautiful. "Yes. Of course," Christina said, looking up at Tom and smiling. "Our son can be at our wedding." She kissed Tom for a long moment, then pulled back so she could switch Merlin to her other breast.

"And after I finish school we can think about making Merlin a little brother or sister. Evan is my best friend. I want him to have a sibling too," she said firmly. "Even if they are younger than him."
