Romy grinned to herself as she danced through the house to get to Rider's bedroom. She pushed open the door and was please when she didn't find a girl inside. "Wake up, Ri! It's your birthday breakfast!" She turned and looked at her Daddy, who was carrying a tray of food for Rider.

Pyxis didn't like getting up early, but sometimes being the friend of Lavinia had it's downside. She was sipping at her coffee and grumbled when she saw Lavinia. "What was this about having to study?" She asked, lifting her sunglasses to look at her friend.

Merlin was up and already on his way out the door to the library to study. He glanced at the boy in his bed, someone he wasn't sure he knew, then slapped his naked bum. "Out. I'm leaving and I don't even know you. Thanks for sucking me off." He walked to his door and looked back at the boy. "Steal something and I'll have you killed." He walked out the door and stopped, bumping into Rowan and Draco. "What are you two doing here?"

Rider groaned, rubbing his eyes and blinking up at Romy. "It's morning," he pointed out, sitting up and pooling his sheets over his crotch so his hard on wasn't as obvious. "What did I get for my birthday breakfast?"

Walden was not as keen on this whole thing as Romy, but she was his princess and he wasn't going to spoil her fun. "Eggs benedict and some potatoes," he said, putting the tray down next to Rider's bed. "Rabastan made it."

Lavinia raised an eyebrow at Pyxis, taking a sip of her own coffee. "You look hungover as hell," she said, laughing. "It's good to study early in the morning. Your mind is fresher."

"Father and Evan are in France for a week and Mum and Thor aren't coming back from Tahiti until Monday. We're staying here until then," Draco said. "Your mum didn't tell you?"

Romy smiled and looked up at her Daddy as she stuck a candle in the eggs benedict and lit it. "Okay, Daddy. Let's sing." She began to sing the birthday song to Rider.

"My mind is rotten. Someone forgot to put it in it's tupperware." Pyxis informed Lavinia and frowned at her friend. "You know I hate studying. Why do you do this to me?"

"No. She didn't." Merlin shook his head and glanced at Rowan. "Rowan, you can stay in the guest room." He watched as the boy disappeared. "You can't go in my room right now."

Walden didn't like singing, but Romy would pout at him if he didn't do it too. He sighed, singing along with her and scowling at Rider.

Rider pulled the tray into his lap, laughing at Walden's face as the two of them sang, then leaned in and blew the candle out. "It looks good," he said. "You really don't have to sing to me. It's kind of weird."

"Because you are a smart, capable woman who should pass all her exams with flying colours and will definitely do so with all the studying I make you do," Lavinia said, smiling at Pyxis. "You'll be all right. Do you need to go get a bacon sandwich or something first?"

Draco raised an eyebrow at that. "Why can't I go in your room right now?" he asked. "I've seen your room messy before, Merlin. I think I know more of your secrets than anyone else in the world. What could you possibly be keeping from me?" A girlfriend? Draco would choke her.

"That's your present from me. The joy of hearing Daddy sing." Romy leaned up and kissed Walden. "You can go back. I know you have to work. Thank you Daddy." She waited until he left the room and smiled at Rider. "I got you another present too. Don't worry."

"No. It's fine." Pyxis told her, shrugging. "You know I want to be a criminal investigator. I know I need to study. We know I'm never going to make it."

"Thanks for letting me stay." Jeremiah winked at him and pulled on his shirt. He looked at the other boy for a moment, then walked down the hall.

Merlin ran a hand over his face and sighed softly. "Alright. Come in." He told him, pushing open his door.
