"Parkinson?" Thoreau was pretty sure Malfoy would end up marrying her. It wasn't like he could get out of getting married anymore than Thoreau could. Or maybe he could. Everyone knew the Dark Lord liked him best. "I suppose I could try. Bellatrix might stop being such a cunt for a while if I spent time with a girl." He stubbed his cigarette out and looked around the common room, finding Parkinson sitting by herself. "Let's give you another reason to feel sorry for her." Thoreau leaned in and kissed Pyxis's forehead. "I'll be back if her gaydar turns out to not be irreparably broken."
Thoreau pushed himself off the couch and walked across the room, to Parkinson's side, resitting himself beside her. "It's been a while since we talked, hasn't it?" He smiled at Pansy. "Since my cousin's birthday, I think."
