Thoreau waited for Pansy in the common room, twirling the rose he'd picked her between his fingers. Rider kept looking at him funny from the other side of the common room and he was hoping Rider didn't feel guilty and tell Pyxis and fuck up his friendship with her or something equally stupid. He looked like he was tempted to. He had a glint in his eye that said desperate to Thoreau.

Rider felt on edge. He kept dreaming about cock, which was fucked up. More than fucked up. He looked down at Pyxis and gave her a small smile, doing his best not to look at either of the Lestranges. Even if Rex was in his chair again. "Should we go?" he asked her. "We want a good table at the pub."

Draco didn't approve of Pansy going on a date wit Thoreau Lestrange, who he hadn't really heard of before the memories Charlie had shown him. He stood with Merlin, watching Pansy primping in his mirror. "What do you even know about Lestrange?" he asked, trying not to sound as petulant as he felt. "You really want to spend the whole day with him?"

June ignored the rest of Slytherin, walking through the common room and out the door, on her way to meet Regulus for their date. Her dad wasn't going to be very happy if he found out about it, but that made it even better. June was tired of her life being controlled. Plus, Regulus could turn into a puppy and play fetch with her. What wasn't to like?

"I'm Rooney." Rooney replied with a small smile as he looked back at Thoreau. "It's nice to meet you. And be back in England." He held out his hand for the boy to take. "Your cousin was nice enough to invite us along."

Pyxis glanced at Rider for a moment and then laughed, leaning against him. "Yes. Rider is coming. As he said, he's my boyfriend." She kissed his neck and then glanced around. "Should we head out now?"

Radley wrapped his arms around Rex and pushed him against the wall behind them, kissing him deeply. "We should try to lose these other blokes today."

"Thank you, Draco." Pansy kissed him on the lips and smiled. "If you were interested in me, we could have gone on a date today. But, you're not. And it's not as if I trust him."

"Are you?" Regulus asked as they walked along. He took her hand into his own and squeezed it. "What sort of perversions?"

Thoreau glanced at Rex and Radley kissing against the wall and then took Rooney's hand, shaking it. "You lived in England before?" he asked. "I'm not coming along with you. Rex just invited me over to meet you and your brother."

Luka smirked at Rider a little. The jealousy amused him. "Yes," he said. "Ve should go. Pyxis tells me there is good pub here. Ve vould like good beer and good food. You English are good at frying things."

Rider watched Rex get pushed against the wall and kissed, frowning to himself. He really didn't like the way he was feeling. "Oi," he said. "Rex. We're leaving now. Come along."

Draco hummed doubtfully. "As long as you're not letting your guard down too much or anything," he said, after a moment. He sighed, taking a step back. "I suppose I should let you go on your date. I'll find Merlin."

June raised an eyebrow at Regulus. "Let's see," she said. "My Uncle Evan is with Lucius Malfoy who's married to Narcissa Malfoy who's with Augustus Rookwood. My father is in love with Abraxas Malfoy, which means my mother resents him, and my brother, despite pretty much being raised as Draco's brother, acts like he's entitled to collect a Malfoy of his own because everyone else in the family has one."

"Yes. We're from England. Born and raised." Rooney replied, holding onto Thoreau's hand. He looked him over and grinned. "Why don't you come along with us? Do you have something better to do?"

Rex glanced at Rider and frowned, running his hand down Radley's chest. "We'll catch up with you. Maybe. If we don't get otherwise distracted." He kissed Radley again, moaning when the other boy pressed him more firmly against the wall.

"Find me? I had to find you." Merlin pointed out as he stood in the doorway to the girls dorms. He looked at Pansy and rolled his eyes. "Have fun on your gay date. I hope you enjoy being a beard."

Regulus couldn't help but snort at that. He shook his head. "That's a tad bit ridiculous. But, my father is married to a woman. My mother. Who lives in a different house. I live with my father and his boyfriend. Remus is more like my Mum anyway."

Thoreau wasn't quite sure what to do about Rooney keeping his hand. He was gay. Normally this would have been a good thing, although considering Rex was involved he probably had to figure in some kind of cousin-planned orgy promise. "I have a date," he said, waving the flower in his hand a little. "I promised her Puddifoot's, not hanging out in a pub with my friends and some new transfer students."

Rider's frown deepened, but he wasn't gay, right? And he knew he cared about Pyxis. If he was going to spend his life locked up in marriage with anyone, it was going to be her. "Whatever," he growled. "If you really can't keep your trousers on for that long without bending over."

Draco sighed, keeping in the comment he wanted to make about Pansy having a lot of practice with it. "She seems to think she will," he said, walking over to Merlin. "Let's go. I could use some more chocolates and a butterbeer."

"Your father has a boyfriend too?" June raised an eyebrow at Regulus. The name Remus sounded familiar for some reason, but she couldn't place it. He was probably some third son from a pure-blood family. "We have even more in common than I thought."

"Is that your date?" Rooney pointed at the girl who looked a little upset. "I thought you were a fag. That's what your cousin led me to believe, at least. But, if she's what you want, you should go."

"I do love bending over." Rex pointed out with a grin, then kissed Radley again. He wasn't going to make Rider angry. He didn't want his day ruined. He pushed off the wall and moved towards Rider. "Maybe you shouldn't be watching me."

Pyxis gave Luka a stern look when he started staring at her breasts. "Perhaps we should all go."

Merlin held his hand out to Draco. "If you want chocolates and butterbeer, I must oblige. I can't say I don't wish to have them as well."

Regulus wasn't sure why he'd said Remus's name, but he hoped she didn't remember that. "We do. Looks like we're meant to be, yeah?" He grinned and wrapped an arm around her shoulders.

Thoreau looked over at Pansy and sighed, twisting his hand and pulling it free from Rooney's grasp. Of course Rex had told him he was gay. "I am," he said. "This is England and I'm a Lestrange. Being gay doesn't matter. It was nice meeting you." He pulled away from Rooney, walking over to Pansy and offering her the flower. "You look nice," he said. "Sorry, Rex is flirting with the new boys and he wanted to introduce me."

"I'm not watching you," Rider told Rex, frowning at Radley for a moment. He pulled away and wrapped a protective arm around Pyxis. "Going now sounds like a good idea. Let's not waste our time hanging around."

Luka thought the look Pyxis gave him was cute. He laughed softly, resisting the urge to ruffle her hair. "Ve leave," he agreed. "Ve must drink beer and have food."

Draco hesitated for a moment when Merlin held his hand out, then took it. He hadn't had a problem stringing Merlin and Pansy along before. Why develop one now, when he didn't even really remember the whole thing with Charlie? "Good," he said. "It'll be nice to just have a normal weekend in Hogsmede and forget that I've forgotten everything for a few hours."

"Maybe," June agreed, leaning against Regulus a little as they left the castle. "You do come with a built in puppy, which is a nice bonus. Do you have siblings? If you have a brother like Merlin then we're set for sure."

"It's okay." Pansy shook her head and held out her hand to take the flowers. She smiled and leaned in, kissing Thoreau's cheek. "You look very nice today. Have you got a nice day planned for the two of us?"

Pyxis leaned against Rider and smiled up at him. "We haven't been on a date in ages. This should be fun." She told him and bit his chest, then turned to Luka. "You should try their onion rings. They're my favourite."

Merlin nodded as he walked with Draco, glancing down at their hands together. "The two of us haven't gotten to talk in a while." He told him. "I feel like you've been hiding from me and I miss you."

"No. I'm the only one my father could handle." Regulus admitted with a small grin. "My father thinks having more than one child is bad because of rivalry. His brother died a while ago and they fought a lot. Apparently my dad feels bad about it. Enough to name me after him."

"Yes," Thoreau said, smiling at Pansy and wrapping an arm around her. He stole one last glance at the twins Rex had found. Bellatrix would kill him if she heard he was flirting with foreign Gryffindors. He'd probably have to spend another week with Walden Macnair Sr. "I'm taking you to Madame Puddifoot's and then we're going to find something nice for you."

Rider frowned when Pyxis started paying attention to Luka. "It's not really a date when you're spending it with four other blokes as well as me," he pointed out. "Especially when Luka hasn't managed to get himself a date. Rex bagged two."

Luka looked at Rider and smirked a little. "There is girl I have my eye on," he told him. "I vork slow. I vill have her eventually. I do not think you understand how to get vomen properly. You must treat like lady."

"I've been trying to piece things together," Draco said, and then hesitated for a moment. "Do you... have any memories you think I should see? Of us? Pansy's supposed to show me some of hers."

"He must have secretly liked him, if he named his son after him," June said. "My parents weren't as creative. I was born in June, so I got named June. Could be worse though. I could be Merlin Salazar."

"Find me something nice?" Pansy arched a brow at that and grinned. "You're going to find me something nice?" She leaned in and kissed his cheek softly before they began to walk. "It sounds like you've planned out day out well."

"Luka's never had to worry about dating someone before. I'm sure he'll get what he wants." Rex told Rider and then glanced at Pyxis. "He used to get all the girls at the Beauxbatons and Durmstrang dances."

Merlin hesitated and looked at Draco. "What sort of memories?" He asked and then looked straight ahead. He didn't want Draco to accidentally see him with his mother. Draco had to be his. To love him.

"Merlin Salazar is possibly the worst name I've ever heard." Regulus laughed at that and shook his head. "If I ever had a kid, I'd want to give it a good name. Like.. Paco or Abigail."

Thoreau smiled at Pansy. "I'm trying to impress you," he told her. "It wouldn't be very impressive if I'd just thrown something together at the last minute. I want you to enjoy yourself today."

Rider frowned at Rex for a moment. "Girls at Hogwarts must be more discerning," he said. "They don't seem to be pulling their skirts up quite as readily as they did at your old school."

"I don't know," Draco said, looking at Merlin and feeling a little suspicious. "Whatever you wanted to show me. Whatever you think it's important that I remember. Tom showed me a bunch of memories he'd collected from me over the years. Us getting kidnapped. When I had dragon pox and you refused to leave. And... apparently I thought it would be a good idea to let your father know we'd kissed."

"Paco?" June repeated. "What's that from? I like Abigail, though. It's a cute name. Paco sounds like a really good name for a puppy." She paused for a moment. "I guess that works."

"I think I'm going to love today." Pansy told him as they made their way towards the doors. She opened one of them and stepped out into the cold, wrapping her coat tighter around herself.

"Or are they?" Rex arched a brow and shrugged, then turned back to his dates, leading them off.

Pyxis shifted uncomfortably and looked between the two of them. "Let's get going, then. I'd like to eat something today. I'm starving."

Merlin laughed a bit at that and nodded. "Yes. We did kiss. I did all the things I did because I love you, Draco. You're... I love you. You're the only person in my life that I care about."

"I don't know. I read it in one of my dad's books one time." Regulus laughed a bit. "Paco is not a name for a puppy. Why would you want to name a dog Paco?"

Thoreau looked at Pansy when they stepped into the cold, wrapping an arm around her and pulling her closer to try and warm her up a bit. "Good," he said, smiling as he rubbed her arm. "What kind of cake do you like?"

Luka smiled down at Pyxis. "I'm hungry too," he told her. He didn't know what discerning meant, but he had a feeling Rider was being a bitch. He liked Rex. "I vill feed you lots."

Rider rolled his eyes. "She's my girlfriend," he reminded them. "I can feed her just fine, thanks. Why don't you concentrate on your friends?"

Draco... didn't know how to respond to that. He looked at Merlin for a moment, then gave him a small smile. People he didn't know kept telling him they loved him and it was weird. "I'm glad we're friends," he said. "You've been good to be around."

"I don't know. It sounds like a puppy to me," June said, shrugging. "Here Paco, come here boy. It works, don't you think?" She grinned at Regulus. "When you have a son named Paco I promise not to make fun of him."

"Orange cake with a buttercream frosting." Pansy smiled up at him. "But, that's only if I'm assuming you don't mean cheesecake. Because I love cheesecake. However, my mother tells me I can't eat it because it's too fattening."

"We are his friends." Pyxis pointed out as she looked up at Rider and frowned. "Honestly, could you be a little less rude, please? Have I ever given you a reason to be like this? Ever? I've been with you since I was four. Grow up, Rider."

Merlin sighed heavily and shook his head. "We've always been more than friends, Draco." He told him. "We've always been each other's worlds."

"What if you have a son with me?" Regulus arched a brow as they walked, grinning at her. "What if he's your son too?"

"Really?" Thoreau asked, raising an eyebrow at looking Pansy over. "You mother has seen you before, right? You're tiny. No wonder you're shivering in the cold." He smiled at her. "You can get cheesecake today if you want. I won't tell anyone."

Rider was not Luka's friend. He frowned back at Pyxis. "I'm grown up," he told her. "I see the way he looks at you. And I think I've made it pretty clear how I feel about someone from a school full of rapists looking at you that way."

Draco was pretty sure that was an exaggeration, given the memories Charlie had shown him, but he nodded. "You should show me some of your memories of us," he told Merlin. "It'll help me recover everything. Honeyduke's first today?"

June laughed. "It's a bit soon to be talking about our potential kids, don't you think?" she asked. "I guess if Paco is my kid too I'll have to hold back on the teasing. Try to be a good parent."

"My mother believes a woman is not at her best if she's overloads her body with sugar and unnecessary carbs." Pansy replied to Thoreau with a bit of an eye roll. "It's ridiculous, honestly."

Pyxis sighed softly and looked up at Rider. "Why are you being like this?" She asked him quietly. "Why are you being this way with me? What have I ever done to warrant this sort of behaviour? Why are you so on edge about everything?"

Merlin sighed softly and nodded. "Alright. Fine. I'll show you some of my memories of us. I just wish that you'd remember on your own." He told him, then shrugged. "If that's what you want."

"It's never too soon to talk about potential kids. You weed out the psychos when you do." Regulus pointed out, leading her into Hogsmeade. "The people who agree to have your child on the first date are the psychos."

"Has your mother never heard that women are made of sugar and spice and everything nice?" Thoreau asked, raising an eyebrow at Pansy. "Carbs fall under everything nice. If you order cheesecake today, I won't tell if you don't."

"It's not about you. It's about him and the way he looks at you," Rider told Pyxis, lowering his voice too. "He doesn't care that you have a boyfriend. He doesn't care that we're happy together. He just sees you as a trophy he could have."

"Thanks," Draco said, feeling a bit amused at how petulant Merlin seemed about showing him the memories. Was this what Pansy put up with from him all the time? "If it's too much work, don't worry about it."

June laughed. "Did I pass?" she asked. "Or am I psycho? I wouldn't be surprised if I was. I know where I come from." She looked at Regulus as they walked into the village. "Where do you want to eat?"

Pansy smiled at Thoreau. He was kind. She leaned in and kissed him softly on the cheek before nodding. "Cherry cheescake?" She asked, arching a brow at him, then grinning.

Pyxis looked up at Rider for a moment, then grabbed him and pulled him into a deep kiss. It lasted a long moment before she pulled back and searched his eyes. "I love you, Rider. I would never hurt you. Do you hear me?"

"It's not too much work." Merlin snapped and then took a deep breath. "Sorry. It's just that... it's really frustrating that you can't remember me. And you spend all your time with Pansy. Like you remember her and not me. And it's just... horrible."

Regulus looked up at her for a moment, then arched a brow. "What do you mean, where do I want to eat? Broomsticks, of course. Where else would we eat?"

"Sounds great," Thoreau said, leading Pansy into Hogsmede and heading for Puddifoot's. Hopefully it wouldn't be too crowded. "I've never actually been here before. There's never been anyone I wanted to take."

Rider looked down at Pyxis for a moment. He wasn't sure it was true, because he'd done something he knew would hurt Pyxis if she found out about it. But he nodded, touching her hair. "Yeah, I hear you," he said. He kissed her again. "Sorry. Just... Let's spend time not with him today too."

Draco eyed Merlin for a moment and then decided it was probably best not to tell him that was basically the case. "It's not like I'm doing it on purpose," he pointed out. "Your father says the memories will come back to me. Everything will work out."

"I don't know. Hogshead? Puddifoot's?" June grinned at Regulus. "I approve of Broomstick's, though. I want chips and a butterbeer and not to be surrounded by a lot of pink and really uncomfortable boyfriends."

"So I'm your first?" Pansy smiled at that. To think that she was the first person that Thoreau had ever taken to Puddifoot's made her feel very special. "I think I like that. I'll make sure your first experience is good."

Pyxis slipped her hand into Rider's and nodded, then kissed him tenderly on the lips. "I love you." She whispered, pulling back and slipping her hand into his own. She squeezed it and began to tug him towards Hogsmeade. "Just you and I."

Merlin sighed softly and closed his eyes. "If you say so." He told him as they headed towards Honeydukes. "More coconut?"

"I honestly didn't take you for a Puddifoots kind of girl." Regulus replied with a shrug as he led her to the Three Broomsticks, opening the door for her. "After you, Miss."
