Merlin gave him a pained look. "I get enough practice of things with my father. I don't need to be subjected to anything more." He ran a hand through his hair and sighed softly, then leaned in to kiss Draco. "I love you. I'm willing to do this for you."
The scene changed to show that Merlin really would do anything for Draco. The large, older Macnair man was looming over Draco, where they'd gotten lost in Diagon Alley. He pushed Draco out of the way and looked up at the man. "Take me instead."
