The scene ended with Merlin giving Narcissa a look of gratitude. And then the scene shifted and Draco and Merlin were twelve years old. They were laying in Merlin's bed together at Hogwarts and they were pressed close.
"You're the only person I've ever been able to love." Merlin told Draco quietly and then he pressed their lips together, arm wrapping around the other boy's waist.
