Draco froze for a moment when he saw Merlin on the floor, and then he was dropping to his knees beside the other boy, touching his hair. "Merlin? Are you all right? What happened?" He leaned down and pressed his lips to Merlin's forehead, the way his mother always had when Merlin was hurt like this.
"Let me help you get onto the bed," Draco said, putting his bag on the floor and wrapping his arms around Merlin. "You shouldn't be on the floor. I wish you could stay in the dorms with me."
