Pyxis was having a really hard time concentrating on what she was doing. Rider had disappeared two days prior and she missed him. Perhaps not the romantic part, but she did miss him. He'd been her best friend. And... She kind of missed sex. Because, not even Luka was touching her. Which was confusing.

She sat in Luka's bed, waiting for him to get back from flying, feeling bored and lonely. Homework wasn't enough to concentrate on. She sighed heavily and fell back against the pillows, letting out a pitiful whine.

"It's not about him knowing if I left or not. I just.." Pyxis sighed heavily and shook her head. She didn't know what she wanted. She looked up at Luka for a moment, then pulled him into a deep kiss.

"I don't even know where to run to." Pyxis admitted. "My parents have different homes around the world. But, they all seem... I don't know." She glanced at him. "What is your house like?"

"It..." Luka looked at Pyxis for a moment. She was a tough girl. She'd probably hit him if he ever implied that she wasn't. But she'd still grown up with wealth and privilege and he'd grown up in a tiny cabin in Bulgaria. "Is small."

He shrugged, running his fingers through Pyxis's hair. "I am part giant. I vould not fit in vhere there are Muggles, so I grow up in voods. Is small and is cold."

	Pyxis looked up at Luka for a moment, playing with a bit of his hair. She leaned in and kissed him again, hand slipping beneath his shirt as she pressed a little closer, wanting him to hold her. 	Luka hesitated for a moment. "I vill," he said. "Ve vill not be alone there. My mother lives there. Is her house. Not mine." He looked down at Pyxis, frowning slightly. He only had one house to bring her too. "This is okay?" He rubbed his thumb over Pyxis's lower lip, trying to make the pout go away. "If this is okay than I vill take you there." Luka nodded, wrapping an arm around Pyxis. "Ve need a Floo or I vill apparate us from outside the gates. Vhich one is faster for us?" He didn't know Hogwarts like Pyxis new Hogwarts.

He leaned down and kissed her. Pyxis had to trust him if she was willing to let him take her to his cabin in the middle of the woods. It made Luka feel protective of her and her faith in him. "I vill take care of you."

	Pyxis led Luka to a floo in the Snape's office and smiled, then kissed him before she stepped inside. After he called out the name of his house, she felt dizzy and held onto him as they landed. 	Pyxis wasn't sure his mother would like her. Most mothers hadn't in the past, but she wanted her to like her. She followed him into the kitchen and leaned against the counter, watching him. 	"If you say so. It's a lot nicer than mine. Mine is cold in the emotional sense." Pyxis told him as she walked over to one of the windows and peered out, smiling at the snow covered mountain. Luka hesitated and then walked to the other side of the room, pulling down the murphy bed propped against the wall. "This is my bed," he told her. "You can have it and I'll sleep on the floor. My mother sleeps in the loft." He pointed to the little platform above them.

"I told you it was small." He sat on the bed and the springs protested under his weight. "We don't have money like you do, but when I am a famous Quidditch player I'm going to buy my mother a bigger house."

	Pyxis looked at the bed for a moment and she immediately wanted to buy him a new one. She crawled into his lap and kissed him softly, running her fingers gently through his hair. "If you're going to do me a favour, you should offer to sleep with me in my bed," Luka said, laughing and pulling Pyxis closer. He brushed their lips together again. "I'm the man. That means I sleep on the floor. You get the bed."

He let his hand rest comfortably on Pyxis's bum. "It's not a bad place. It could be warmer. A little less old." Luka shrugged. "I'm not ashamed of where I come from. I just know it's not what you're used to."

"If she objects to it then I'll be the one sleeping on the floor," Luka told Pyxis. He kissed her again and then pulled away when the cabin door opened, letting in a gust of freezing cold wind. "Close the door," he said, pulling Pyxis closer to his chest. "It's freezing."

"I knew Hogwarts would make you soft." Lena Draganov smiled at her son and the girl with him as she took off her hat and scarf. "You found a girl at your new school already? Does she speak Bulgarian?"

"I believe he found quite a few girls, but I'm the one that stuck." Pyxis told the woman with a smile, suddenly feeling very nervous. She pulled back from Luka and stood, holding her hand out.

"It's nice to meet you, Miss Draganov." Pyxis didn't normally get nervous. This was new. "I'm Pyxis Nott. And yes. I'm fluent in Bulgarian... And German... And most of the languages surrounding you, actually."
