Merlin was still suspicious of Remus J. Lupin. His next door neighbour. He frowned to himself and then at the door separating their rooms. He tapped his fingers against the book he was reading, then pushed himself up from the bed. He had to check on the other man. Just in case.

He knocked on the door once and then pushed it open, walking into Remus's room.

	"What haven't I had?" Merlin asked as he thought about all the food he'd never eaten. He shook his head. "A cheeseburger. Chinese food. Any sort of pork product, now that I'm thinking about it." Remus gave Merlin an odd look. "Your father has strange ideas about what sophistication means," he told him. "You've never had bacon? The first time someone gave me bacon was amazing."

He took a bite of his fish. "You can probably get the house-elves to make you all of those things. Or take your fiance out to get them." Merlin would probably like the Muggle world, if he could over everyone being a Muggle. No one would know who he was.
