She felt bad for letting her temper get the best of her on Charlie's journal. It wasn't as if he set out to sabotage her career or anything like that. She knew Charlie enough, and he wasn't the type of bloke to be that ambitious. As well, it could be possible that he wasn't aware how much she wanted to get the Scotland placement.
By the time she had apparated to Scotland outside the reserve's gates, Penelope was set to apologize to Charlie as soon as she saw him.
"Yeah, girlie? What d'ya want?" The gatekeeper looked her up and down, then spat out a stream of tobacco juice which nearly reached the tips of Penelope's boots. He was an old keeper with tobacco stained whiskers and a large burn scar down his neck.
"I'm here for a meeting with Charlie Weasley and Head Keeper MacFusty," Penelope told the wizard, staring him down.
The keeper just snorted and opened the gate for her.
"Oi, Weasley! There's a wee girl here for ya!"
Penelope bristled and shot the keeper a dirty look.
