inseguitore ([info]inseguitore) wrote in [info]occultus,
Mia giggled in delight as she was passed over to Cho, pressing a kiss on Cho's cheek in greeting as she had seen grown ups do. "My Cho," Mia grinned happily, running the words together a little. At 18 months, Mia was stringing together very short sentences and recognised a few words - but most of what she said was still babble.

"Ah, and there is the word of the week. 'My' or 'mine'." Johnny chuckled before nodding, confirming Cho's suspicions. "Pasta, pumpkin pasties, pizza and strawberry tarts." His mother had a broad range of things she cooked being influenced but the different cultures she grew up in.

"Hello Cho, dear," Mrs Chambers replied in greeting before disappearing back into the kitchen. A soft tirade could be heard through the swinging door as she chastised whoever else was in the kitchen to stop eating the tarts as they were for dessert.

Mia played with Cho's scarf, fascinated by the texture, but her attention quickly went back to the woman that was holding her when asked a question. "No," she replied with a cheeky grin, using another one of her favourite words, laughing at the Eskimo kiss.
