1998'S ULTIMATE CHRISTMAS ACTIVITY GUIDE

MINISTRY OF MAGIC
ANNUAL CHRISTMAS
CHARITY DINNER

IT'S ON AGAIN! The Ministry of Magic's Annual Christmas Charity Dinner is on again and is the prime event of the season to go to. Anyone who is anyone is going!

This year's dinner will have special guests from the International Confederation of Wizards as well as a performance from award winning singer, Celestina Warbeck. All proceeds from the dinner go to the "Greenthumbs in the Alley" project which is an organisation who want to put in community parks and gardens in the Diagon Alley area.

HOGSMEADE CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR

This one is for the kids! Hogsmeade Village are throwing a month long Yule time celebration with fun and games for all ages. They even have a giant Christmas Tree in the centre of town lit up with over a million fairy lights of various colours.

Every shop is having a 20-50% sale on all items until the 24th of December, for all your Christmas present needs. And they be having a Christmas Carol sing-a-long performed by the Hogwarts Choir over the weekends leading up to the holidays. Also, for the whole month of December, kids under 11 eat free at the Three Broomsticks and get a free present from Madam Clause (a.k.a Three Broomstick's very own, Madam Rosmerta).

GOSSIP WITCH EXCLUSIVE: FLINT AND WOOD - TOGETHER??

It seems we have had a little dry spell in gossip over the past couple of months however this past weekend brings about some interesting news to the Witch Weekly headquarters.

Many who attended Saturday's match between Puddlemere United and the Falmouth Falcons were witness to an accident involving a Bludger hitting Falcons Captain and Chaser, Marcus Flint. It could easily have been written off as merely a part of the game. However, in a bizarre move, Puddlemere United Keeper, Oliver Wood, decided to leave his post at the goals and save Flint - resulting in injuring himself in the process.

Most would say that it was Wood's good sportsmanship which led to him trying to save his one-time school Quidditch rival, Flint. But rumour has it, there could be something more between the pair of Professional Quidditch players. No word from either player on whether there is any truth to the rumours.
