Charlotte usually went wherever Elodie did. Her cousin was older than her, and spent a lot of time at their house, so it made sense. Plus, Elodie was older and even if she liked weird things and was a bit violent, Charlotte still liked her. She was cool. Today, she was over at Xavier's house playing with her stuffed unicorn while Elodie and Xavier played with their dolls.

Charlotte glanced at the other boy in the room, who she'd met a couple times but was too shy to talk to, and watched him chew on his sheep for a bit before she crawled over to him. "Hi," she said, sitting next to him. "I have a unicorn."

"I'm not anyone's property," Charlotte told Jaden. But she liked the way he was looking at her and touching her. He was handsome, and she was pretty sure tall, muscular boys were her type. She smiled up at him. "But I could be someone's girlfriend. If they asked me out on a date."

"It's very obvious." Xavier gave Bruno an unimpressed look and then swatted the back of his head lightly. "I'm going to buy you a drink and then I'm going to go dance. Maybe hit on Cepheus. What do you want?"

Jaden smiled at Charlotte and pressed a little closer. "I'd love to take you out on a date. If you'll allow it." He leaned in and kissed her neck, hands sliding down to her bum. He liked the dress she was wearing.

"Fuck." Bruno couldn't just sit back and let him touch her like this. He marched over to where they were and pulled Jaden away from her, punching him hard in the mouth, knocking him down. "Don't touch her like that!"

Charlotte was busy feeling flattered a little turned on by the fact that Jaden was kissing her neck and touching her bum as they danced and didn't realize what Bruno was doing until he'd punched his cousin.

"Bruno, stop!" She grabbed his arm, frowning at him. "It's just dancing. It's not like he was raping me or something. He just touched my bum. You're going to get yourself in trouble!" She pulled away from him, bending down to help Jaden back up, touching his jaw. "Bruno is a little protective of me right now. I'm sorry. He was complaining about my ovaries being visible earlier."

	"I think I can see them right now." Jaden said as he clutched his nose. He smiled at her for a moment and then pushed himself up from the ground. "It's alright, Charlotte. 	Charlotte turned to watch at Bruno took off, feeling bereft. She didn't know what she'd done, why he was leaving. He looked so mad at her. She bit her lip, fighting down the urge to cry, and turned to Jaden. "Yeah," she said quietly. She fumbled in her bag for a moment, then pulled out a tissue and offered it to Jaden.
