Elodie didn't know how she felt about Caspar leaving. While she liked having all of Xavier's attention, there was still the small annoyance that he was so grumpy and whiny now. She hadn't thought that Caspar was that cool anyway. He was kind of bossy and annoying. She was the only one allowed to be bossy and annoying.

Xavier looked down at Elodie and laughed. "Just because he's my boyfriend doesn't mean I need to spend all my time with him," he said. "Besides, this is my last year. You'll have to get through next year on your own."

He wrapped an arm around Elodie and smiled down at her. "I'll be one of those sad people who comes and visits the school all the time, just for you."
