Charlotte's father hadn't been able to hide his glee when Charlotte and Jaden had broken up before she'd returned to France for her final year of schooling. He didn't think Jaden was an appropriate choice for her. Charlotte spent a lot of time around Jaden when he didn't have his shirt on, so she disagreed. The only thing she didn't like about it was that tension between Jaden and Bruno was always heightened because Bruno had decided he was her big brother or something stupid.

When she'd gotten back from France, she and Jaden had flirted a bit again, but Charlotte wasn't going to date anybody until she was sure she was sticking around. And now she was. She was starting at King's College, London, at the end of the week, after spending what felt like forever on the waitlist, thinking she might end up in Edinburgh. Charlotte texted Bruno to meet her over something urgent and sat in a coffee shop with a drink ordered for the both of them, waiting to tell him the good news.

Charlotte watched Bruno jumping, feeling like maybe she should get out of bed and jump too, if that really calmed you down. The kiss and the touching and the cuddling had gotten to her, just a little. Maybe she'd just text Jaden.

"Chinese?" she suggested, smiling at Bruno. "Or maybe pizza? But I love the idea of noodles and rice and sweet and sour pork for dinner."

	Jaden had gotten the text from Charlotte and then was given an address. He knew where Bruno's new place was, but he'd never seen it. They hadn't gotten along since he'd decided to hit on Charlotte and had dated her for a while. He arrived at the door with a flower and knocked, waiting outside, having a look around. It was nice. 	Charlotte was spending time in the living room because being in a bedroom didn't calm anyone down. When there was a knock on the door she got up and pulled it open, smiling up at Jaden and his flower. "Hi," she said, stepping back so he could come in. "Is the flower for me? 	"Yes. It's for you. I'm sure he's got a cup." Jaden smiled at her and stepped into the house, taking a look around. It looked like a house that was perfect for Charlotte, but not so much Bruno. Charlotte smiled as she took the rose, walking to the kitchen and looking around again. "I don't know," she said. "He said Cepheus helped him. It's beautiful though, isn't it?"

She filled a cup with water and put the rose in it, then turned to look at Jaden. "I'm staying in London instead of going away again," she said. She felt a bit nervous talking to Jaden about it, if she was honest. She knew Bruno would be happy. Jaden might not have any desire to pick up where they left off. Charlotte wasn't totally sure how she felt, but she was going to end up doing something she regretted if she played house with Bruno and didn't have a reason to stop herself. "I got into King's College and it was my first choice of school anyway. So I'm living here now. In the spare room."

	Jaden looked back at Charlotte for a moment. She wasn't going to a far off uni away from everyone again. She was actually going to be around. His face soften a bit and he moved forward, wrapping his arms around her and picking her up, spinning a bit. "Does that mean you're going to be my girlfriend again?" 	Charlotte laughed when Jaden picked her up, wrapping her arms around his neck. She looked down at him and kissed his nose. "Yes," she said. "If you want me to." "I can't believe you want to be my girlfriend again." He leaned into her and touched her hair. "So. We're dating again. What now?" He asked, taking her hand. "What school are you going to go to?" Charlotte laughed when Jaden kissed her face. "Of course I do," she said. She leaned up and kissed him again. "You're amazing. We only broke up because I was going to school so far away."

She smiled, wrapping her legs around Jaden's and pulling her a bit closer. "Hopefully we go on a date soon." She wrapped her arms around his neck, lacing her fingers behind Jaden's head. "King's College, London. It was my first choice but I only got in off the waitlist this morning. No Scotland for me."

He thought about his schedule for a moment, then nodded, kissing down her neck. "Tomorrow night." He told her, holding onto her hand. "We'll go out for a film and some dinner. 	Charlotte smiled at Jaden. "That sounds perfect," she said. She kissed his cheek. "We'll see if we can top our first first date. I have faith in us. I think we can pull it off." 	Jaden laughed and reluctantly pulled away from her so she could slide off the counter. He held his hand out to her. "Sorry. I didn't realise that I had you pinned there. "It's okay," Charlotte said, looking up at Jaden as she slid off the counter and took his hand. She smiled at him, kissing his arm. "I liked you pinning me there. Getting to be that close to you is one of the many perks of being your girlfriend again."

She led him down the hall. "I have my own room," she said. Telling her boyfriend she'd probably be sleeping in Bruno's bed most nights seemed wrong. Even though it shouldn't because she and Bruno were just friends and everyone knew that. Charlotte opened the door to the smaller room, smiling at the little metal-framed single bed in it. "This is my room."

	Jaden took a look around and then glanced at the single bed. He snorted and turned to look at her, shaking his head. Bruno was such a cunt sometimes. 	Charlotte laughed. "Bruno's a sweetheart," she said, smiling at Jaden and then crawling into his lap. She kissed him softly. "He's just doing what he thinks is best. He's wrong, but I think it's sweet." She brushed her fingers through Jaden's hair. "You'll have to be careful if you don't want to break my bed, won't you? Are you and Bruno still not getting along?"
