"Xavier's an idiot who doesn't deserve to have Cepheus as his boyfriend," Scorpius said, shaking his head. "I only went home with him because I was so sad. I didn't know... what he did. Not until this morning. He was just... nice to me."
He chewed on his bottom lip for a moment. "I -- I did have a boyfriend, but we never..." Scorpius shrugged. "I wasn't in love with him. I didn't want to have sex with someone I was only with because I was trying to get over someone else. I wanted it to mean something. It's why we broke up. Because I wouldn't put out."
