Cepheus felt like he'd found the perfect flat in all of London. And he'd spent four days building it up and decorating it. He'd taken what bit of James's budget he could get and then his own and he was very happy with the way it had come out.

He smiled to himself as he waited for James outside the door to their flat, glancing at his watch. He was late.

James's Room.
Cepheus's Room.

"Mmm." Cepheus nodded and then ripped open James's shirt, sending buttons flying everywhere. He looked at his chest, then bit at it, leaving a mark behind, then let his hands slide low to start undoing his trousers.

"I can think of another way to christen the kitchen." Cepheus told him quietly, wrapping his hand around James's cock. He stroked him slowly, biting his bottom lip hard, just as there was a knock at the door and the sound of an older woman on the other side. He frowned. "Who is that?"

James really, really liked where Cepheus was going with this kitchen christening business. He was almost willing to ignore the knock, except he recognized the voice. "Fuck my life." James's head fell onto Cepheus's shoulder and he closed his eyes, trying to calm down. "That is my grandmother." James pulled back, tucking his cock away and then looking down at his open shirt.

"Shit. Can you -- get the door, I need to put on a different shirt and calm down." He kissed Cepheus quickly. "She'll love you. I promise. Tell her I had cake on me and needed to change or something, love. I'll be right back." He raced away, up the stairs.

Molly Weasley stood outside the door to James's new flat, holding a tin of biscuits and enough food to feed a small army tucked away in a box. She knocked on the door again, sighing to herself. James was probably tidying everything up before he came to the door. Boys.

Cepheus stared at James as he walked off. Had he called him love? And why was he the one who had to answer the door? He didn't think that that was very fair, considering that it was his grandmother. And why had he called him love?

He sighed softly and ran his hands through his hair, then walked over to the door and opened it. He smiled at the woman. "Hello." He nodded. "I'm Cepheus. James's roommate. Come in."

Molly gave Cepheus a surprised look as she walked into the flat. "You're one of Albus's friends, aren't you?" she asked. "It's nice to meet you, Cepheus. I'm James and Albus's grandmother, Molly."

She looked around the flat as she walked in, straight to the kitchen, and then began to put away the vast quantities of food she'd brought with her. "This place is lovely. Very modern, but James always liked that look." She looked at Cepheus and smiled. "Aren't you the boy the papers are saying Jamie is dating now? It's a bit soon to be moving in, don't you think?"

"I designed it. My father owns this building." Cepheus told her as he watched her with the food she'd brought over. How had a woman so small carried all that food at once. He was impressed. His mother wouldn't be able to do that.

"I-" Where was James? He didn't want to make James seem like a slut to his grandmother. He wasn't heartless. But, still. "We're not dating. The papers like to make things up."

Molly hummed doubtfully. "Well, you be good to him," she said. "I don't want him to end up hurt. James is a good boy. You'd be lucky to have him as your boyfriend. He's so good to Albus and Lily."

"Grandmum!" James bounded down the stairs in a fresh t-shirt, now that he was thoroughly calmed from Cepheus crawling over the counter and sticking a hand down his pants. "You're here!" He rushed over and wrapped his arms around her, squeezing her tight and beaming down at her. "I hope Cepheus was a gentleman."

"He seems like a lovely boy," Molly said, patting James on the shoulder. She kissed his cheek and then went back to what she was doing, putting more food in the fridge. "I brought a week's worth to set you boys up."

"Thanks, Mrs. Weasley." Cepheus told her with a small smile, leaning against the island counter. He looked at James for a moment and frowned while she was turned, then looked at her.

"I'm sure James would love to give you a tour of the house." He told her. "I just finished it up today."

James did not understand when he was being frowned at. "Of course," he agreed. "I just got the tour myself. I didn't expect you to get here so soon."

"If I didn't, then you'd end up eating junk for dinner," Molly said, shaking her head. "I won't have that on my watch. You know, I bet your brother lives on pizza and crackers." She looked at Cepheus. "When Jamie was a little boy he'd follow me around the kitchen all the time, asking me how I made everything so delicious. Has he cooked for you yet?"

"No, Grandmum, I haven't cooked for him yet," James said, laughing. "Cepheus told you he's not my boyfriend, right? We're roommates. Cepheus just got out of a longterm relationship."

"Well, anyone who'd let you go is a fool," Molly told Cepheus firmly. "You're a very talented boy. You did a marvelous job on this flat and I can tell Jamie likes you a lot."

Cepheus smiled at Molly, though really, he was wanting to scream. Internally screaming. James was not allowed to like him a lot. It would make things complicated.

"Well, thank you." Cepheus told her with a smile, then motioned for her to follow him. "There's another room I haven't showed James yet. You'll get to see it first. It's a nice room." He led her into it and smiled. "This is the guest room. You can stay here sometimes if you'd like."

James loved his grandmother, but he wasn't so sure about the idea of his grandmother staying with them. "If you and granddad are feeling up to it," he added, peering over Molly's head, into the room. He looked at Cepheus, smiling a little. "You should really consider doing this for a living. This only took you four days."

Molly smiled, patting Cepheus's hand. "You're sweet," she told him. "When Arthur and I come into the city we usually stay with James's mother and father."

Cepheus smiled at Molly and walked a little further into the room. "I have people who help. Jaden is excellent at lifting furniture." He told him as he opened the door.

"If you do stay, you'll have your own bathroom." He told him. "And it's a secure building. I'm sure James will love having you over for holidays."

Molly laughed. "Everyone comes to The Burrow for the holidays," she told Cepheus, shaking her head. "I have seven children and they all have their kids. I like piling them all into the house for a few days to celebrate together, except when Fleur takes Charlotte away."

"Cepheus knows Charlotte and Elodie," James told Molly, even if mentioning Elodie felt sort of like mentioning Xavier. "You can come over whenever you want," he told her. "You know you're always welcome. And Al is living in a giant loft, so he doesn't exactly have the space."

"Holidays full of family sound like a lot of fun. My family is all boring and stiff. Except my stepfather Luka. He's a big cuddly teddy bear who sneaks me sweets." He smiled at Molly. "I heard you make amazing biscuits."

He looked at James. "I also heard you like soaps. Which do you watch? Let me show you our telly."

Molly beamed at Cepheus. "I brought a tin of biscuits for you," she promised him. "You'll have to make sure James shares. He's always been a bit greedy with sweets. I watch EastEnders and Emmerdale, of course. Coronation Street too, sometimes. Do you watch them as well?"

James wasn't sure how he felt about Cepheus charming Molly's socks off. It was easier if she liked his roommate, but still. She was supposed to like him the best. "He does," James told her. "When he's not pretending he doesn't watch my football games."

"Of course. What self respecting woman doesn't?" Cepheus waved a hand and led Molly into the sitting room. He frowned at James and shook his head, falling onto the couch.

"I don't watch your games. I don't like sports." Cepheus pointed out and then turned on the table. He went to his dvr and started playing EastEnders on it with a grin. "Here we are."

"You totally watch my games," James said, rolling his eyes at Cepheus. "You cannot pull that with me. I've seen you talking sports with the Macnairs before." He watched his grandmum perk up when EastEnders started to play and smiled, then walked to the kitchen to grab the biscuits.

James flopped down on the couch beside Cepheus, opening the tin and handing it to him. "Try one. They're amazing. You're going to have to explain this show to me. I never got it."

"How do you not get it? Are you thick?" Cepheus asked as he looked at James. "It's all about the people who live in Albert Square. And of course it's full of drama and emotions because it's a soap."

He shrugged. "Dot just came home after being gone, so everyone is excited about her return. And there's this whole bit with Zainab and Ayesha that's ridiculous."
