Xavier nodded, looking at his hand and Cepheus's. "Exactly," he said, voice soft. "You're one of my best friends. I liked living with you and sharing everything with you. Now I'm alone in our apartment."
He squeezed Cepheus's hand. "And... even if I start dating someone else, you're always going to have part of my heart, Phe. I want you to know that. I know I didn't always make you feel as happy and secure and loved as you deserved, but I do love you and I always will."
