Draco found it a little odd to sit in the common room and have someone talk to him, but Regulus had decided that they were friends and he hadn't changed his mind as soon as he'd met other people. He'd even somehow got Radley out of the room. Of course, given the way he and Radley usually interacted, that probably hadn't been very hard. He doubted it would be difficult to convince Radley that he'd be better off with another roommate.

He played with the snake ring he'd dug out of his things, the one from Tom, and then realised he hadn't heard the last few things Regulus had said because he'd been too busy playing with Tom's ring and marvelling at the novelty of having a friend. He looked up at Regulus and blinked. At least he talked a lot. He probably didn't mind repeating himself. "What?"

"Boyfriend," Draco reminded Regulus, smiling at him. Them being roommates was probably a little dangerous. Draco was here because he had a habit of trying to manipulate people into caring about him, using sex if he had to. Usually he did. "As fun as it sounds. Come on." He pushed open the door to their room, slipping out from under Regulus's arm to get the chess set. "Black or white?"

	Regulus laughed at that and nodded, looking down at the board. He wasn't particularly good at chess, but he was going to try hard. Draco naked was something he wanted to see. Draco shrugged. "As far as I know you haven't humped my father, like my last roommate, so no, not really," he said, moving another piece. "It must have been a lot worse before if you ended up on the third floor for it."

He glanced up at Regulus. "One of the orderlies says Snape thinks there's a chance I could get obsessed with someone and end up hurting them. Which isn't true. I'm not that delusional. Do they think your condintion can become anything like that?"

	"Hurt someone? Yeah, they think that about me." Regulus told Draco as he looked back at him. He moved his own piece, finally, then sighed. "They think I'm like.. capable of raping someone or something. Like I'd just hold someone down. Or kill them. It's not like that for me." His eyes met Draco's. "I just want to rub against things. "I just want..." Draco trailed off, looking down at the chess board and frowning. He wanted a lot of things. He wanted attention. To feel appreciated and secure. For someone to care about what he felt and what he did. Lots of people, if possible. He wanted to stop feeling lonely and empty all the time. "I just want someone to love me."

He moved a piece and then looked at Regulus again. "I went crazy because I thought Tom loved me and it turned out he didn't. And then I got here and I tried to kill myself." Draco looked down at the ring on his hand again. "But Tom's the only person who's bothered visiting me here. He'll let me be his boyfriend again as long as I don't do anything stupid. He likes me."

	"Do you really think it's worth it? I mean, he's the cause of you trying to off yourself." Regulus pointed out as he moved another chess piece. His eyes focused on Draco's expression for a moment, then he shook his head. "In my opinion, it's not." His eyes dropped to the board in between them. Draco reached out and moved a piece, not really paying attention to what he was doing with the game anymore. "I'm Draco Malfoy," he said. "There is no normal for me. There's a wife I can't love and a career I don't want, after I get out of here. There's making an heir with someone so I can drive him as crazy as my father drove me."

He studied Regulus for a moment. "You're lucky. That your father found your mother and was brave enough to leave your family for her. I don't think I could ever do that. I can't blame Tom for not wanting to give up his wife and his family and position and reputation for me. Especially when he doesn't love me. But he cares about me, and that's good enough. I'll take it."

	Regulus looked Draco over carefully for a moment. He pushed the board aside and crawled into Draco's lap slowly, letting his lips move over Draco's neck until he kissed him firmly on the lips. 	Draco stared at Regulus for a moment, after he was kissed, and then gave in to the instincts he was supposed to be learning to fight and pulled the other boy close, kissing him for a long moment and wrapping his arms around him. Regulus liked rubbing against things and hitting on him. Draco hadn't had sex in a long time. They could make this work for them. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Draco slipped a hand under Regulus's shirt and nodded in agreement. "I'm glad you think so. I want you." He nipped at Regulus's bottom lip and then pulled back enough to get his shirt off. 	Regulus had to groan when he felt Draco rubbing against him like that. He closed his eyes and rocked back against the hand, his heart pounding faster. He'd never felt better before in his life. He bit his bottom lip and whimpered, reaching down to rub Draco in turn. (Reply to this)(Parent)
