Thoreau was covered in bruises from the time he'd been spending with Rooney, and especially from Rooney moving in as his new roommate. His voice was hoarse pretty much constantly and the amount of bruising on his body was rivaled only by the bite marks and scratches Rooney left behind when he played with hims. Thoreau wasn't objecting. He liked being able to look in the mirror and see a ring of bruises and bites around his neck, but he knew Snape and Walden would both object and he was going to have to risk this.

It was early still, and he had his hoodie on with the hood up, which hid a surprising amount, so he wasn't that worried when he walked to Pyxis's bedroom and knocked on the door, pushing it open. Thoreau frowned a little when he found it empty. He hadn't thought she was up. Thoreau glanced around the hallway, then sighed and walked to Pyxis's bed, taking a seat and noting the absence of her Hello Kitty pillow. He hoped she returned from wherever she was sleeping soon so he could get some makeup to brush over his neck.

	"I don't want you around her either." Rooney shook his head and frowned. "She handcuffed you to her bed and you're supposed to be mine. Were you flirting with her too?" Pyxis leaned against Walden's chest and closed her eyes, shaking her head. "No. Rider wouldn't do this." She looked at him. "You need to get Rooney Macnair moved to another floor." "Flirting with her? No, of course not. She's just my friend. We haven't fucked in weeks." Thoreau frowned back at Rooney. The way he was acting confused him. "The handcuff was a joke. It wasn't like we were planning on having sex."

"Rooney?" Walden frowned, pulling Pyxis a little bit closer. "I told Snape it was a bad idea bringing him onto this floor. He thought Rider and Rooney... but of course. He hurt you."

"You said you wanted to belong to me. I'm not into cuckholding." Rooney informed him, then grabbed Thoreau and pushed him against the wall. "Do you want to belong to me or not, Faggot?"

"He's nothing like Rider. Rider is a fucking lamb compared to Rider." Pyxis hid her face in his chest. "He's beating up Thoreau. Thoreau likes it, but I don't think it's good for him. I want him to get better."

"I'm not having sex with her," Thoreau said, wincing a little when he hit the wall, but he liked Rooney because he pushed him around. "Yes, of course I want to belong to you. Do you want me to prove it to you?"

Walden tightened his grip on Pyxis just a bit, picking her up and carrying her over to his chair. He took a seat, with Pyxis in his lap. "Tell me what you know," he said. "Then I'll get some of the orderlies to come with me to see the two of them. I'll make sure he doesn't hurt Thoreau again."

"If you know what's good for you, you won't talk back to me." Rooney told Thoreau with a deep frown, then leaned in and bit his his neck hard. "Prove it how?"

"I don't want Thoreau to get mad at me. You have to... You have to be slower about it." Pyxis told him and shook her head. "He's... He's covered in bruises and bite marks. And he told me that Rooney may kill him. And that he hopes he does."

Thoreau's knees went weak when Rooney bit his neck. He closed his eyes for a moment. "I... Yes, sir," he said, voice soft. He touched Rooney's chest. "Prove it to you however you want me to prove it to you. I owe you a blow job, don't I? I promised you one when you woke up."

Walden frowned. "If that's the case, I don't know how slow I can be, Pyxis. I can't know someone is in danger and not try and stop it. Do you think Rooney wants to hurt him that badly? That he's capable of killing him, based on what you saw between them?"

"No. You don't get to have enjoyment after you disobeyed me." Rooney informed him and then grabbed him by his hair and began to drag him down the hall. "I want you to sit in silence and think about what you did."

"I don't know. He got mad that I handcuffed Thoreau to my bed as a joke so that he wouldn't leave my room." Pyxis told him and sighed. "And then he broke my bed and the handcuff and... I don't know, Wallie."

Thoreau yelped a little when Rooney grabbed his hair and started to pull him along by it, scrambling to try and keep up with him. "I didn't disobey you!" he protested. "You didn't tell me not to leave without waking you."

Walden ran a hand through his hair. "Rooney was in jail before he came here," he told Pyxis. "He kidnapped a girl and tortured her. While he was in jail, he tried to hurt himself and eventually he was transferred here. Snape thought this was the floor he belonged on, but I'm not so sure."

	Thoreau looked up at Rooney for a moment, then nodded, pushing his hands under the other boy's shirt. He liked the idea of a reward. "I can be good." He kissed Rooney's stomach as he stood to get the shirt over Rooney's head, then sat on the bed again, undoing his trousers and pushing them down his hips, doing his best not to let his hands wander. Thoreau looked up at Rooney and nodded, smiling at him a little. "I know," he said, relaxing a little more. As long as Rooney didn't hurt Pyxis again everything would be fine. "I didn't mean to make you angry. I'm sorry."

He kissed Rooney's hip, pulling off the other boy's pants and then sitting back on the bed. "You're naked," he pointed out. "What would you like me to do?"
