There were orange lantern lights tacked around the common room. Pumpkins sitting on the tables full of candy, and as much as Pansy wanted to grab one of the pieces of candy, or all of them, she wouldn't allow herself. Instead, she was focused on just staring at the candy. And mentally eating it.

When had it become Halloween time anyway? Had time flown by on her? Had she really not noticed how late in the year it was getting?

"You're beautiful," Luka said, smiling at Pansy and touching her cheek. He leaned in and kissed her for a long moment. "It's okay to be nervous. Just tell me if things get too intense for you."
