Pyxis wasn't feeling very good. She'd been having trouble sleeping again, mostly because her stomach was always upset and she was always nauseous. She rubbed at her stomach absently as she lay in the bed in her own room, feeling lonely since Walden had told her she couldn't stay in his office anymore. And he hadn't come to really see her in two days.

What had she done wrong? She chewed at her bottom lip, tugging at the bottom of her shirt, putting it over her knees as she curled into a ball.

Pyxis looked at Rider for a moment, then down at the bulge in his trousers. "Are you-" She chewed her bottom lip and then laughed softly, pressing her hand over it. "I thought you were on meds for this."

She lay beside him, looking up at him. "I suppose so. Are you ready to be a father?"

"You told Walden to stop them, so they stopped them," Rider pointed out, looking down at Pyxis's hand on his cock. "Sort of. I think they're still in my system or something. I can get a semi, but that's it."

He snorted, looking up at Pyxis. "No," he said. "But what the fuck. I said I'd help you out. No backing down now."

"Well. I'm proud to be the cause of your first erection back." Pyxis informed him with a grin, then kissed his neck tenderly. Part of her was telling herself that she wanted to sleep with Rider. It was what she was used to. And she was bad with self control.

"I'm trying not to sleep with you right now." Pyxis admitted as she looked back at him with a sigh. "Maybe I should visit the nurse now."

Rider hesitated for a moment. Pyxis trying not to sleep with him meant that he could probably get her to give it up pretty easily. But that wouldn't be the friendly thing to do and they were trying to be friends. "Okay," he agreed. "We'll go to the nurse."

He sat up and ran a hand over his mohawk. "I probably couldn't actually full-on fuck you yet anyway."
