Bruno wasn't a completely horrible friend. He had caught wind of some of the things going on with Cepheus, which was confusing. He'd always thought that Cepheus and Xavier were happy and in love. But, obviously he'd fallen out of the loop with most of his friends since Charlotte had decided she was a very happy girl on his cock.
But, he had to avoid Jaden and see how bad that situation was with everyone else. He texted Jude to meet up with him at a pub and was sitting and waiting for him at the bar, sipping at an ale.

Scorpius left Rex's flat feeling pretty stable. He got into a cab and then made the mistake of checking his phone, of seeing all the texts from Albus and watching the video of him singing, and had fallen apart again and terrified the cab driver. Scorpius stopped at his dads' place to change clothes and then got another ride to the coffee shop where they were supposed to meet, careful to avoid his parents or Martin or his sisters, who would probably have seen the article about him and Rex.
He still felt shakey and he wasn't at all sure what was going to come of him and Albus meeting, now that Albus knew everything. He could text that he loved Scorpius all he wanted, but to Scorpius it was hard to believe he didn't mean as a friend. He needed that wall of protection up or hope would creep in and destroy him. He found Albus sitting with two coffees and slid into the seat across from him, wrapping his arms around himself and sort of wishing he had Cepheus there for added protection. "Hey."

Scorpius woke up in an unfamiliar bed with a slight headache from drinking the night before. It took him a moment to remember why the bed was unfamiliar, and then he had to squash a flare of shame. He didn't owe anyone anything. It was perfectly all right for him to sleep with someone he found attractive. Especially since technically he hadn't even been a virgin, even if had been his first time topping.
Rex had been really, really good at it. Scorpius didn't have much experience and he could tell that. He rolled over in bed, stretching, and sat up, running a hand through his hair and looking around for Rex. He really had to work on his sleeping in problem. "Hello?" Scorpius grabbed his jeans from the floor, slipping them on again and leaving the bedroom, eyes lingering on the photo of Rex touching himself proudly displayed in the hallway. "Rex?"

Cepheus had asked him to do this and Xavier still felt guilty for sleeping with Caspar so he was going to do it. Even though it was going to suck. He would have much rather gone shopping with Scorpius and Cepheus and then gotten wasted and danced with them. But no. He got to make Albus feel even worse than he already did. Xavier knew what cheating on someone you loved felt like.
He walked into Albus and Scorpius's flat and cleared his throat, looking down at Albus. "Come on," he said. "We're going to go out and get drunk. There are some things Cepheus thinks you need to hear and you'll want to get drunk after you hear them."

Albus was so upset about everything that happened. He didn't know if he was upset about actually sleeping with Scorpius or upset that he'd liked it so much. That it had felt so natural and wonderful and beautiful. As he rode the train, he had a lot of time to think about it. To think about Scorpius and how he'd felt about him when they were younger. How much he'd wanted him.
But, he'd spent two years with Kit. And Scorpius had never said anything about feelings things for him before. Had he always felt this way? But, kit was so perfect for him. They had the same goals. The same drives. They had planned their future out together. They were going to live in a log cabin and have a child together through a surrogate of their choosing. They were going to be famous and love each other.
And then he'd think of Scorpius. His best friend. Someone he'd already spent all of his life with. One of the only people who had ever made him feel comfortable, before Kit had come into the picture, at least. He closed his eyes and stepped off the train.
The bus ride felt even longer and he was worrying his lip so much he thought it may bleed. And sometimes his eyes would start to water when he thought about what he'd say to Kit. Still not sure of what he even wanted to do. And he wasn't sure how Kit would respond. He stood outside of the door for what seemed like forever before he was able to knock on the door.

Scorpius thought he'd done pretty well, all things considered. He'd kept it together until Albus left to go tell Kit how much he loved him, and then he'd fallen apart and been a mess for a while, lying around in the pile of blankets that served as Albus's bed, feeling sorry for himself. Then he'd gone and bought a pint of ice cream, eaten in, felt horrible, and now he was standing outside of Xavier's flat, really hoping that Cepheus was there.
He scrubbed at his face for a moment, taking a deep breath to try and calm himself, and then knocked on the door. Cepheus would make him put this in perspective, somehow. He'd make it all make a lot more sense.

Xavier picked up his and Elodie's coffees and then brought them over to the table they were sharing together, smiling at he took a seat across from her. "You need to tell me about Bubbles," he said. "I still haven't gotten the chance to see you dance there. I... have some things to tell you too."
He sat across from her, playing with his drink. "I think I'm going into business with Cepheus. As well as moving in with him."

It wasn't very typical for Albus to feel so down in the dumps, but he'd gone to his first day of classes. And while they'd been great, he was starting to miss Kit. And it had only been four days. How was he going to feel in a week? Or a month? Or until their first vacation?
He sighed dramatically and fell down onto the couch, curling up in a blanket full of his despair. He soon fell asleep, crying to himself.

"I can't believe you're really moving out." Lavina sat on Cepheus's bed, watching him pack up his things. "For real. Not just staying at your boyfriend's place most of the time. You know you're leaving me alone with Dads and Antonia, right?" Lavina got along well enough with their fathers, but Antonia just... simpered a lot.
"I guess it's fair if you get to move out too, since Scorpius is gone, but still." She flopped over on his bare matress. "I wish I was older. I'd get my own place too. Maybe next year, when I go to Cambridge."

Charlotte had messed up big time and she knew it. In the rush of being close to Bruno, she'd forgotten about Jaden, and even if she'd texted Jaden the next day to reschedule their date so that she could give herself time to think, she'd still made herself into the kind of girl who dated two boys at once. It wasn't like Jaden was going to accept her forgetting about him as a valid excuse for it either, especially since she'd dedicated today to breaking up with him. Right after asking if they could get back together.
She stood when the doorbell rang, smoothing out the front of her dress and walking over to pull it open. "Hey," she said, looking up at Jaden. She felt nervous. She'd never really broken up with someone before. Charlotte grabbed her bag and her jacket, stepping outside before Bruno and Jaden could run into each other. "Where are we going? I have something we should talk about."

Xavier liked spending time with Caspar, but he had a boyfriend and a best friend to spend time with too. Especially with his boyfriend. Xavier had to check that he didn't have any marks from Caspar, but he'd been the one doing most of the marking up. He felt guilty, but not guilty enough that when he saw a post on some blog about Cepheus Malfoy and James Potter shagging he didn't feel a flare of jealousy.
He was supposed to meet Elodie for lunch, but plans could be postponed. He texted her to tell her to come to hig flat instead of meeting at the restaurant and headed home, hoping Cepheus would be there. Cepheus hated James Potter. And Xavier wasn't allowed to be jealous. It was hypocritical. "Phe? You home?" he called.

Antonia was disgruntled as she walked through the flat she lived in with her father and mother. She was wearing knee-high boots and a long jacket and was pouting as she poured herself a coffee. She looked at her father, who was already reading the sports page, and pouted at him a little more noticeably.
"Daddy." Antonia pushed down his paper, giving him a dire look. "Please don't make me go back to that school. You know I hate it there. Look at this uniform. I look ridiculous. They want me to wear mary jane shoes, Daddy. They're so ugly!"

Kit hadn't told Albus he was coming to visit, but after all the emails about his new place with Scorpius and his classes and a week away, he had to come over. They could have the weekend together. It wasn't like they couldn't do any practice needed for classes together. Besides, Kit missed Albus. When you'd been with someone for two years, a week away seemed like forever.
He smiled to himself, tucking the present he'd gotten Albus into his pocket, and knocked on the door to his new flat. Besides, what kind of boyfriend didn't check in after their partner moved in with a model? Even if the model was Scorpius Malfoy, who had pushed Albus to ask him out in the first place.

Elodie was bored and she had no idea where Xavier was. She'd been waiting at his father's house, where he was normally at on Saturday mornings. But, he wasn't this time. And he hadn't answered her texts. She grumbled to herself, walking into the sitting room to watch telly.
Only Rider was there. She hesitated for a moment, then looked him over and sat down beside him. "Hey..." She chewed her lip. "Have you heard from Xavier? He's usually here on Saturday's to have breakfast with Pyxis."

James was on the run. Sort of. He had been minding his business, getting a coffee, when the paparazzi showed up. He liked what he did and, if he was honest, he liked the attention it got him, but sometimes a bloke just wanted to drink his coffee in peace. He slipped out the back of the shop, after charming a barista, and he was walking away with his head down when he turned the corner and spotted Cepheus.
Cepheus had made it pretty clear that he didn't actually like James that much in the time that they'd known each other, but he was Al's friend and any port in a storm. "Let me borrow your hoodie," James said, walking up to Cepheus and touching his arm. He glanced over his shoulder, then took his hat off and put it on Cepheus's head to try and confused anyone looking for him. "Please?"

Charlotte's father hadn't been able to hide his glee when Charlotte and Jaden had broken up before she'd returned to France for her final year of schooling. He didn't think Jaden was an appropriate choice for her. Charlotte spent a lot of time around Jaden when he didn't have his shirt on, so she disagreed. The only thing she didn't like about it was that tension between Jaden and Bruno was always heightened because Bruno had decided he was her big brother or something stupid.
When she'd gotten back from France, she and Jaden had flirted a bit again, but Charlotte wasn't going to date anybody until she was sure she was sticking around. And now she was. She was starting at King's College, London, at the end of the week, after spending what felt like forever on the waitlist, thinking she might end up in Edinburgh. Charlotte texted Bruno to meet her over something urgent and sat in a coffee shop with a drink ordered for the both of them, waiting to tell him the good news.

Scorpius had spent the summer away. It seemed like the smartest thing to do, because going slowly crazy from unrequited love while his best friend snogged the boyfriend he was too fucking adorable with was not good for his health or stress levels. So he'd gone to Europe as soon as he finished writing his A-levels. Spain at first, and then France, and then he'd ended up in New York for two months because some photographer had started hitting on him while he was in Cannes and it seemed stupid to turn away the attention and now he kind of had a job and an agent.
Scorpius wasn't looking forward to telling his parents he was maybe not going to go to university at all, but he'd missed London and his agency had a London office and he'd just broken up with his stupid boyfriend who'd been pretty but now... anything else, so going home seemed good. Seeing his brother and his friends and his family seemed good. Now, walking down the street with Cepheus feeling half-dead from the time difference and on his way to meet Albus and Kit, New York was looking pretty good. "I'm going to pass out," Scorpius said, pushing his sunglasses up his nose. "The circles under my eyes are about a mile wide."

"What exactly is it that you're dragging me to?" Elodie asked as Xavier dragged her along the streets of London. She had a job interview the next morning and she really didn't want to have to deal with being tired and having bags under her eyes. Even if her boobs were more than enough to qualify her to work at Bubbles. She looked him over carefully.
"All you're telling me is it's a show." Elodie whined. "You're being very elusive about all of this. Come on. Tell me."

Elodie didn't know how she felt about Caspar leaving. While she liked having all of Xavier's attention, there was still the small annoyance that he was so grumpy and whiny now. She hadn't thought that Caspar was that cool anyway. He was kind of bossy and annoying. She was the only one allowed to be bossy and annoying.
"What do you want to do today?" Elodie asked, playing with her Captain Hook hand, poking him in the side. "You want to play dress up?"
