pretty much gwen hasn't had the best childhood growing up. her father is the founder/creator of a playboy-esque magazine and it was booming right from the start. when gwen was eight years old, her parents filed for divorce because her dad pretty much picked the magazine over his family. gwen and her mother packed up and moved out of their house to another across town. soon after her mother began to heavily drink, take prescription pills, and bring out a horrible/verbally abusive side that gwen has never seen before. her mother also dates like it's going out of style and has married at least three times. gwen absolutely loathes her mother, and can't stand the stress she puts on her. so pretty much the line i had in my head was the two were very good friends before they decided to date. they became a couple in their sophomore year and things ended their junior year for the fact gwen couldn't commit herself for the fear that he'd leave her like her dad left her mom. it's a whole psychological deal that is basically making her hesitant to be anything more then just a friend with a guy. as hard as tom tried to make things work, gwen would get more and more distant to the point they couldn't fix what they had. i want them to be on good terms, he possibly (if you want) could still have feelings for her but know that they will most likely never be what they were in the beginning. since tom knows what her life is like, he worries for her and she still trusts him so he is kind of her go to guy when she needs to get away from her mom and her ways.

as for faces this is just a random list, i was thinking of joe jonas, shia labeouf, jared murillo, wesley quinn, joseph gordon-levitt, drake bell, cody linley, dougie poynter, danny jones, asher book, matt underwood, sean flynn, rob pinkston, zac efron (i haven't seem them active).

ooh. alright, that gives me a huge and ripe idea in my head now. i would say that tom would still have feelings for her. i mean definitely. he may have had a girl or two before her but since they're good/close friends before they became an item, he would've been very attached to her. when they broke up, it would've meant a great deal more than breaking up with a random girl. he would still 'love' her, as far as he knows, but he's not sure whether that love is romantic or fraternal--maybe he never actually knew in the first place. so after the break-up and they sort of reverted back to the friendship they have pre-romance (if i got that part right :s), tom would've had to struggle with a lot of things. he would've been a bit more careful around her, but never less sensitive/compassionate/warm. but he did have to keep his hands in check and make sure that every word didn't have an underlying meaning/implied something inappropriate/indecent. a dash of awkward ex-ness.

AND! i shall look at the pictures of these people~ tyty.

that sounds perfect! growing up around the most important people in her life falling apart and seeing the outcome has completely scarred gwen. i'm going to have gwen have a few flings before tom, nothing special just little non-serious relationships. tom however will be her first serious relationship and so far her only one. breaking up with him was hard on herself because now she felt like it was her fault. she did love him, but she knew she couldn't fully give him what he wanted and what he deserved. now that they are back to square one, as you might want to call it, it may seem awkward at times since before they dated they didn't know what it was like to kiss one another or have stronger feelings. now that they do know that and how it felt, it might make things kind of weird from time to time. gwen really appreciates how gentle and kind tom is, he will be her life saver when she needs to sneak out and get away from reality.

	aww. they're cute. tom would always be torn when it comes to her. he'd like to love her like he did when they were together and look out for in a way that friends don't usually do but he's held back by the fact that they're only friends now. he continuously needs a reminder, unless he did something that would cost their friendship completely.
