oh hey, scribbld is back!
Callaway appreciated the kiss. The memory of when they'd first slept together flickered through his mind, and he couldn't help but think of how he'd had to push past each barrier just to get to Parker. He had him, naked and in his bed, but it was work to get to the emotional part of Parker. It'd been worth it, though. The soft kiss showed him that Parker still trusted him, even after all that he'd been through. The words meant even more than the kiss, and Callaway felt his heart swell.
"You make me happy, too," he said softly as he tangled their legs up together. "I love that I make you happy."
