Somehow Mick always ended up being the person who came down to fetch any visitors. She didn't mind it, though. She actually was the one to offer. She liked the journey down to the first floor, it gave her a nice break to just be on her own for a few minutes to sort things out in her head. She'd had quite a few good break throughs on rides down to the lobby, and she was hoping for one now. Unfortunately, it didn't come.
When she came around the corner, she was surprised to see the pretty blonde girl. Pretty wasn't even the right word. The woman was gorgeous. Not a girl at all, and it was hard for Mick not to notice. Smoothing a hand down along her white v-neck t-shirt she had on beneath her blazer, she went over to the counter and signed the form the secretary had set up for her so that she could just give Brie a badge and take her on upstairs.
Mick was not at all feminine, she was definitely an easily read tomboy. Her slacks were fitted, but not in a girly way, and she had on a pair of Chuck Taylor's instead of dress shoes. Her hair was slightly messy, but in that good sort of way, and the only makeup she had on was a bit of eyeliner, just enough to make her eyes stand out.
When she turned around, she had a vistitor's badge in her hand, and she smiled warmly.
"Misty Rains?" she called out, and she couldn't help but wonder if that was the woman's real name. If it was, Misty's parents had a sense of humor. Mick got the feeling that it wasn't her real name at all, though.
