Having just found out that Ally and Clark were taking vacation at the same time, Wyatt was currently at his desk, considering the implications of that. No one (except Liam) knew if they were going on the same vacation or not. It could have been as simple as not wanting to find a substitute interpretor for Ally. Or it could have been as complicated as another office romance. Wyatt was very sharp, obviously, but if asked to read his friends' behaviors, Wyatt turned almost useless. He didn't have that kind of savvy. He kept stealing glances at the two of them, wondering if other people were suspicious about him and Micah like this.

When he saw Micah come back in from interviewing a suspect they had in custody, Wyatt straightened in his chair, suddenly ultra aware of how he reacted to the sight of the man. It sent his senses reeling.

	Taking him up on his tacit offer, Wyatt lied down next to him. "Ally's doing some more handwriting analysis of the letters the stalker sent. It's highly likely that we've found the killer, but it's proving difficult to pinpoint his location. I feel bad for Ally having to read those letters though. They got pretty graphic." Micah frowned. He'd read them all, unless they'd gotten a new one earlier in the day, and Wyatt was right. They'd gotten pretty graphic, and it was disturbing to read them, no matter how much Micah had seen over the years working in law enforcement or with the bureau.

"Mick seems pretty invested in this case, she talks to Brie quite often," he noted. He had a feeling Mick was interested in the girl, but he hadn't said so outloud just yet.

Wyatt had noticed that she spoke to Brie often, but more like a strict measurement of time rather than an indicator of something more. Micah was good at those things though, reading people and understanding motives. "Invested? Moreso than in any other case?" Mick was the devoted sort, committing herself to her job in all situations. It was peculiar to Wyatt for Micah to mention her investment specifically to this case.

Raising his eyebrows, Wyatt wasn't sure what to make of that. "Something more than just concern for her well being, you mean? You know--I've never actually read any statistics about forensic employees getting involved with victims. I'm sure studies have been done on it, but it's never occurred to me as something that happens."

Not that Micah had outright said anything about a romance, but that's often what people meant when they talked about one person looking at another in a certain way.

	Micah couldn't help but smile. He loved that Wyatt's brain always seemed to go to statistics, or something scientific. While some people found it annoying or bothersome, Micah genuinely found it endearing and sweet. "Oh trust me, it definitely happens," Micah said softly. "Mick has the hero look in her eye. Wyatt frowned. "Do you think that's a good idea, given her profession?" Prostitutes did not make the best option for a significant other. Or at least, Wyatt couldn't imagine that their profession would create a very good environment for love to blossom. He didn't want Mick to get hurt, even though he knew she was a very capable woman who was experienced enough in the ways of the world. But that didn't stop Wyatt from being concerned by this development.

"I think Mick can handle herself just fine, and I think she'd be well aware of what she'd be getting herself into," Micah said fondly as he let his fingertips brush gently through Wyatt's hair. He turned his head and brushed a kiss against the younger man's temple with a quiet sigh. "I really don't want you to get sick, but I can't stand having you so close and not touching you."

Reaching into his pocket, he took out some Purell and squeezed some into his hand. He rubbed it on the temple where Micah had kissed him and then he smiled down at the man. "I'm prepared." It could have been an elaborate little joke, or completely serious.

But more than likely, it was humor, since Wyatt followed it up immediately by kissing Micah's cheek and then closer to his mouth by a few centimeters. "I'm probably already infected."

	Micah smiled and let out a soft laugh, and when Wyatt kissed his cheek twice, he turned his head to capture the younger man's lips in a full kiss. He let it linger for a moment before he pulled back, and he swept his fingers across the side of Wyatt's jaw in adoration. "I like the way you say infected," he teased. "You're my favorite contagion." Of all the other Typhoid Marys he'd met, Micah was definitely the best. Cuddling on the couch was definitely worth getting ill, and that was a surprise, given how meticulous Wyatt was about not missing any work and not getting sidelined on a case. But the rest of the team would be fine without them and forced vacations were still vacations.

"Infected," he said again and squirmed closer to Micah, burrowing under the blanket.

	Micah grinned, loving that Wyatt was being so adorable and flirty. It was absolutely adorable, and sexy, and despite being sick and feeling like hell he still wanted Wyatt more than anything. That got a surprised yelp out of Wyatt. "You certainly seem to be feeling better. It must be the chicken soup." And maybe a pretty boy squirming against him, but Wyatt certainly didn't think of himself that way.

"I'm not sure making out is an approved viral remedy," he noted, somewhat seriously. But still, his chin tilted back so that Micah could have better access to his neck.

Wyatt made the sound again and damn near batted Micah's hand away in favor of letting him get some much needed rest. But how could he possibly resist this? Micah's attention was a coveted gem and Wyatt wasn't about to dissuade him.

Perhaps he could just help him with the work. So Micah didn't have to do a lot of work, he shifted so that he was on top of him, smiling down at him as he slipped into a kiss again.

	When Wyatt slipped on top of him, Micah let one of his hands settle at the younger man's hips while the other moved to rest against the side of Wyatt's neck. He brushed his thumb back and forth along the pulse of Wyatt's throat as he kissed back, parting his lips to deepen it. Yup. Wyatt was definitely going to get sick. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

The thought crossed Wyatt's mind as well, picturing the transfer of germs and the way the virus was probably now being attacked by his immune system as it wove its way into his body. But it didn't bother him because Micah tasted so damn good, and felt even better.

He was going to be satisfied with kissing and touching, not wanting to wear Micah out. But he didn't know if the man beneath him would be satisfied with that. It made him laugh a little, what a trooper. His fingertips slid up underneath Micah's shirt, playing along his waist.

	The little laugh made Micah smile a little bit, and he broke the kiss to press soft ones against Wyatt's jaw and throat. His hands settled against Wyatt's ass and he rocked his hips up just a little bit as a soft noise slipped past his lips. "What're you giggling about?" he asked quietly. "I'm giggling about your libido and how not even troops of bacteria can dissuade you." He grinned. "I think they've met their match." Whether he meant the match was himself or Micah, Wyatt didn't say.

He laid his head down on Micah's chest, listening to his heartbeat and the sound of his breathing. There was a bit of congestion that he could pick out. "Are you going to sleep on the couch tonight? I'd like to stay over."

Wyatt was secretly glad of Micah not wanting to move right now. It was pretty comfortable laying on top of him. He would have to go to work tomorrow, especially if he planned to have to take time off for his own illness that was probably coming. "What should I bring you tomorrow? What happened when you got sick as a child?" Wyatt knew it as common to have little rituals that stemmed from how one's parents treated illness.

"See, now who's the cute one?" He smiled as he pictured little Micah and his mom watching Scooby Doo. "They say the name Scooby Doo came from Frank Sinatra's recording of 'Stranger's in the Night' where he goes 'dooby dooby doo.'" Wyatt had heard that somewhere once and of course it had stuck in his brain. It was a cute story but he had no idea if it was true or not. He would bring over Scooby Doo tomorrow, he decided.

	Micah's hand settled at the back of Wyatt's neck and his fingers gently curled there. Wyatt was the best kind of blanket, he decided, and he tightened his free arm around the younger man's waist.
