open to shay
Elijah had gotten the fabulous idea that he and Shay should get a hotel room to see what really being on their own would be like, and of course Shay had indulged him and agreed. After packing up and arriving at the room, they'd ordered room service and had a picnic on the bed. When Shay got up to take a shower, Elijah found his violin and settled on the floor to play for a bit.

He'd only just gotten the violin back recently from the FBI. He hadn't really played it, because it felt strange to even think about now that he didn't have to. He wanted to wait until he wanted to, and today he wanted to.

He had his shoes and socks off and was wearing a brown pair of slacks with a matching vest over a white t-shirt, and he probably looked silly sitting on the floor like he was. He was so into playing that he hadn't even heard the shower cut off, and he just kept right on playing until the song ended. He was going to start another one when he realized that the sound of water was no longer drifting out of the bathroom, and he turned his head in the direction he knew Shay must have been standing in with a shy smile.

"Are you watching me?" he asked softly.

Lijah's legs went slack and slid away from Shay's hips but he kept his arms around the other. His head fell back against the pillow when the kiss broke, panting as he tried to catch his breath. Sex hadn't ever, ever felt like that. Sure, Adam made it feel good, but this was just... so different.

"It's never felt that good before," he managed after a moment, his voice a little shaky, and a soft laugh escaped him. "Does it always feel that good?"

"It'll always feel that good with me if I have any say about it." He was reeling with Elijah's words. Somewhere in the back of his mind, he'd been worried that Adam would have been better. Of course it didn't make logical sense, but sex and kink and sensation could be tricky things and what if somehow Adam was just better at it? The thought that Elijah could somehow miss being underneath the man made Shay ache, but now he felt reassured that it was just going to be them in bed together. No memories of what had come before.

Elijah grinned and lifted his head up to brush a few kisses along Shay's neck, and then his lips. He let his head fall back down against the pillow as he swallowed hard, still trying to catch his breath.

"I love you," he mumbled, "I'm so happy I have you, you make me so happy."

Going through all that he had, to Lijah, it had been worth it just to meet Shay and to really fall in love.

	"I love you also," he said warmly. He slid to the side, nestling in against Elijah. He rested his head on his shoulder, catching his breath slowly. His whole body felt light. 	Elijah grinned as he settled close to Shay's side and let his head rest against the other boy's shoulder. At the mention of dessert, he let out a little laugh and let his mouth ghost along Shay's collarbone. "I am pretty hungry now," he said softly with a smile. 	"I should have ordered more food," he laughed and stayed next to Lijah for a few more minutes before getting up and grabbing a plate. Almost always exuberant, not even such a perfect exertion could quell his energy. He started in on the brownie again, offering Elijah a bite for each of his own bites. Elijah settled beneath the sheets and when Shay came back, he offered him some and then sat up to lean against the pillows. He enjoyed the bite of brownie and reached for his margarita, though he grabbed Shay's since it was the first his fingers touched and he took a sip.

"I was hoping that would happen tonight," he admitted after a moment, his cheeks a little pink and his smile a touch shy.

	"Oh, I see how it is. You were seducing me instead of the other way around," he laughed. "I am definitely okay with that." "I'm pretty sure you seduced me just fine," Lijah said happily as he finished off the margarita and managed to put the glass aside, feeling around for the bedside table. He settled on top of Shay then, wiggling his toes as he brushed a cool kiss to the boy's chest. "It's kind of crazy to get to experience all of these things instead of just wishing for them," he mumbled after a moment. "You know?"

	Even Elijah's fingertips were chilled and they made pleasant patterns against Shay's skin. He could imagine the cold fingerprints trailing steps against him. "I like that you've been wishing them. 	"Me too," Elijah mumbled as he closed his eyes with a happy yawn. "I like that I've known you for so long before it happened. I've never trusted someone the way that I trust you." 	"It will be," Shay said in earnest. He wanted it to be perfect all of the time, and maybe that was a lofty goal--that they would never face problems in their relationship--but it was a good thing to strive for. 	Elijah yawned again and relaxed. He was completely spent, happy, and his belly was full. The alcohol was definitely helping him along to sleep, and it wasn't long before he was out, pressed up against Shay comfortably. (Reply to this)(Parent)
