Wyatt was quiet for a very long time and for awhile, it seemed like he wasn't going to say anything at all for the rest of the night. He laid there, looking at the blank television set mounted on the wall in his room. It was an old tube-set and he could see himself and Micah reflected in its black surface.
"In 102 years of operation, the FBI has only had a little over 50 agents killed in the line of duty. The odds of Emma being killed are--" he shook his head. "The odds are stacked in our favor. Out of all of the FBI agents doing dangerous things on a daily basis, only 52 have died. 52. That's hardly any." And now Emma was one of them.
