When Reagan heard the door to the basement open up, he lifted his gaze upwards to focus on the stairs. He watched quietly as Adam came down each step, and he sat on the edge of the bed though he didn't make a move to get up.
"The fact that you just used the term 'he could have saved' me is interesting, you think I needed saving from you, then?" he said after a moment, finally speaking to the man who'd taken him from the comfort of his own home.
