The drive was not so far away, and it disturbed Liam how close Reagan may have been this whole time. He was trying not to get his hopes up, unable to fathom what kind of disappointment he would face if this address wasn't the location of the victims. He thought about the families of the other men that he'd met, focusing on them to give him courage. Fear seeped into his heart as he imagined all sorts of bad things that may be the case at this man's house. What if they'd been wrong? What if he'd been killing them and keeping them this whole time rather than holding them alive. His stomach churned, but his mental fortitude allowed him to pull back those thoughts and focus on the case, separate himself emotionally as best he could because there was work to be done now, possibly dangerous work.
As they drove, Liam worked out a plan of attack and directed Mick to call the other car to convey how this was going to go down. He didn't want to rush it, but he also didn't want to lose anymore time.
