Ron's head snapped up at her exclamation of pain and he was immediately at her side, his brown furrowing in concern. "Hermione! What happened?" He asked, looking at her. "Are you alright?"
Without even thinking about what he was doing, he reached for her injured hand and took in into both of his, holding it up to his face to see what had happened. They were very lose at tha tmoment, mere centimetres from each other. He looked up from her finger and found himself very close to her face, looking at her intently. His cheeks flushed slightly as he looked into her eyes and whispered, "Are you okay?"
