Hermione and Ron: a walk before the ball
Ron let out a sigh of relief when she said she liked the corsage. He wasn't quite sure about it but Ginny has assured him several times that it was a good idea and now he knew Ginny to be right. He made a mental note to thank her later.
"Oh, er, alright." He said, reaching out and fumbling with the ribbons on the corsage to get it on her wrist. His fingers brushed her skin several times and he felt like his skin was on fire at those spots. After several minutes, he finally managed to get the corsage on.
"So, er, walk then?" He asked, vaguey gesturing to the common room door. "Reckon we can leave the masks off until the actual ball starts. We still have a bit of time." He said, glancing at the watch he'd been given by his parents for his seventeenth birthday. He never really took it off.
